| The
Chalquilla Cup is officially over!
Team Foghorn Leghorn (aka Firebird Team 1) take the title with 11
victories and one loss. Team Chickenhawk (aka Firebird Team 2) finished
sixth with four wins and eight losses, losing the tie to the Temper
Tantrums on overall kills scored - however, they did manage to upset
the three-way tie for second place by beating Epsilon Squadron and
forcing them into fourth. Congratulations to Theta and Lambda for their
second and third place victories, respectively! Colonel Doyon of Beta Squadron was promoted to General thanks to his leadership over the last year and his work promoting the EH on social media. Promotions like these don't happen often, and just show I need to work harder if I want to reach that lofty rank! With ChalCup over, Firebird Squadron Training will resume as of May 2nd at 4pm Eastern time. Solo-queuing isn't for me, and I'm not always around when others are to play, so it's time to arrange a time to get the gang together again for some fun. Other Challenge pilots are, of course, always welcome to attend! |

TIE Corps in Battle (TCiB): The TCCOM's High Score Hunt, one battle each from TIE, XvT, and XWA will be assigned monthly. Trivia for the Challenged 2021 - Season 1: Four trivia questions every week, points awarded based on time and number of correct answers. Prizes for weekly, monthly, and season winners, along with further prizes for points-based achievements. |

feel that this is going to be the first month since I returned to
active service that I've not been happy with my own activity levels -
the stress of needing to find a new job paired with needing to travel
to Upstate New York (five hours each way) mean this week was a bust
activity-wise, and next week doesn't look any better. I'm aiming to restart the Firebird Squadron Training (featuring pilots from the ISD Challenge) to ensure that every week players have at least some opportunity to get together with their squadmates and wingmates; solo queuing or queuing with pilots from other ships is great, but we also need to strengthen the bonds within our own squadrons and wing.
