We've done it! Lambda, against all odds has won the Squadron Remob Competition and in just four days setting a new
Emperor's Hammer Record! It was a truly great experience and it was down to the team coming together and just knocking out those
assignments the way an AT-AT would squash an ant. I am glad to say three more squadrons (Tempest, Avengers and SIN) have finished
already and several others are knocking several assignments out. It's been a good remob overall!
The Chalquilla Cup Season #1 has almost come to an end and what a tournament it has been! Currently pending one set of games
between Epsilon (Club Pew Pew) and Firebird Team Two (Chickenhawk). The deserving winners were Firebird with an 11-1 final tally.
I have mentioned in the previous report that Firebird had won and congratulated them in doing so, yet never mentioned to whom
or how Firebird lost that one game. Some rumours were spreading through the fleet, that apparently, Xye is such a great
support pilot that opponents mistake him for not one, not two, but.. three TIE Reapers! All I have to say is...
should have gone to spec-savers.
Congratulations to LT RedBaron for winning the COO Objective Scramble for March with an outstanding 23 kills
and only one death. Furthermore, congratulations to CM Xye for winning the Hammer Trivia. In addition,
big congrats to LT DemWookieeCheeks and LT Solohan for receiving their Commendation of Bravery! Last but
not least, to MAJ Genie for winning March's COO Star Wars Challenge with 276 confirmed combat wins.
There was an excellent event last Saturday, whereby the NRN challenged the Emperor's Hammer to some 5v5 skirmishes.
15 pilots were split into three teams of five each. Two dogfights and two fleet battles for each team. We won 2-1 on
"sets" and drew overall at 6-6. Excellent result if you factor in, we just showed up, relatively unprepared. Kudos to
COL Silwar for arranging the event and to COL Marenta for trying to increase participation.
March's TCIB results are out and as expected, Tempest is setting the pace. We have our work cut out for us there.
Here are April's TCIB battles:
At the request of leadership from another squadron, all Lambda members will be taking mandatory training classes
for teamwork, honor, and dignity. On second thought... nah! We are good! Lambdas assemble!
