ISD WARRIOR WEEKLY REPORT #13

REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Zekk Terrik
DATE SUBMITTED: April 5 2021

FROM THE DESK OF THE COMMODORE

For those of you that celebrate, I sincerely hope you have a nice Easter. I know I did. MSEs are in the works, I am only still awaiting Rho Squadron's. I'd also like to say congratulations to Sin Squadron for earning 4th place in the Remob competition. I'm impressed. Last year we finished our tasks in 5 weeks, and really we missed a week because I was in Arizona at the beginning. Great work guys!

Shoutout to CM Aardvark, KMDR of Kappa, for winning the Warrior Mascot competition. He made a great story you guys can see on the Discord. I've decided I probably won't run any competitions until the end of Remob so you guys can focus on that, and it will also give me some time to think of them.

WARRIOR ROSTER
  • The roster currently stands at 42 members as we continue to trim the fat and add some leanness. I would like to welcome SL FamePlane - no wait, LT FamePlane! - to Rho Squadron and congratulate both him and KoolAidMan on their promotions.
  • FLEET NEWS
    • Make sure you catch episode 7 of The TIE Pilot Podcast at this link, where CM Jack Wynand and I discuss the early history of the EH with SA Maverick. We have migrated ALL episodes of TTPP to the official EH YouTube channel.
    • I am proud to welcome COL Doyon to the crew of The TIE Pilot Podcast. We are currently working on episode 8, where we intend to have LT fr0Zen of Rho on to get a new guy's perspective on the EH! We're tired of interviewing these old farts!
    • Led by COL Mordechi Wolfe of Sin Squadron, we have progressed to Phase II of Project Sovereign. MAJ Genie and COL Silwar have taken the lead in designing the Imperial Armory.
    • A new TIE Corps logo was released, and it was pretty damn dope looking!
    • TIE Corps in Battle, March assignments are out!
    • Trivia Grand Tour is out, and I bombed that newest one harder than Episode IX bombed in the hearts of Star Wars fans.
    • Squadron Remob competition has begun and runs until the end of May-ish. Sin is already done! Nice job guys!
    SHIP NEWS
    • I have had a couple of people reach out to me about being long-term interested in a CMDR spot. I want to encourage anyone who's interested, even if you've been a CMDR before, to reach out to me so we can begin the process.
    • Warrior Mascot competition has concluded, congratulations Aardvark!
    • We are soon to be putting together another Warrior MP night! Contact CPT acetiepilot for details.

  • April COO Objective Scramble: Bonk The Gonk

  • Pilots, There will be a rotating COO Objective each month for a chosen platform and goal. This month is based upon AI Kills in Fleet Battles.

Objective: Submit your best game scoreboard screenshots from Fleet Battles (Ranked) with the most AI Kills via e-mail at tc-combat-ops-office@googlegroups.com between April 1, 2021 (0:00 GMT) and April 30, 2021 (23:59 GMT). The COO and COOAs will have access to these submissions and place them in an online tally. At the end of the month, the top three pilots will be determined and be given awards.

In the case of a tie score, the determining factor is game score. This does not require meeting LoC standards for victory to participate. To encourage further participation, each winning pilot per month will be given a rating of 3 points at maximum, scalable to 2 or 1 if less than 3 pilots participate a month. The top three pilots at the end of the year will attain the annual awards.

  • COO's Star Wars Challenge Episode VII - 2021

  • Pilots,

Welcome to the 2021 refresh of the COO's Star Wars Challenge.

Platforms Involved: X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, Squadrons.

Objective: Accumulate the most missions in a Star Wars branded approved multiplayer platform. You may submit PvP battles (Legion of Combat) or PvE battles (Legion of Skirmish). You have from 00:00 GMT on the first day of the month to begin and your submissions must be approved by the Combat Operations Office no later than 23:59 GMT on the last day of the month.

At the end of the month the totals will be tallied for each pilot's LoC and LoS scores and totaled into a sum. The top three scoring pilots will receive the respectively monthly reward based on ranking.

There will also be an ongoing annual ranking so you are encouraged to continue participation. The top pilot will be given 3 points for that month towards that ranking, reduced to 2 or 1 if there are less than 3 pilots participating each month. At the end of the year, the top three pilots overall will receive the annual awards.

  • COMMODORE'S ACTIVITY
  • Won't even lie. Other than some DM conversations with my pilots, not much.
  • CLOSING COMMENTS

Once again congratulations to Sin, Aardvark, and welcome to our new pilots! I've been taking a bit of a "TC break" for the last couple weeks and haven't done much other than reports and chatting - next week it's back to it!

Pilots of the Warrior, please reach out to me with any questions, comments, or concerns about my drinking.

Until next time, the only way forward is THROUGH!
