The roster is up another six, continuing an upward trend we've been seeing ever since Star Wars Squadrons came out and even a bit before that.
We have a new pair of awards rolling out based on a proposal from CM Robert Hogan: the TIE Corps Commander’s Unit Award (TUA) and the TIE Corps Meritorious Unit Award (MUA). They're basically unit-level versions of the Iron Star earned by placing in a competition as a squadron, wing, or ship. More details about each can be found in the Pilot Manual. Note that Iron Stars previously awarded to members of a winning unit will not be updated to these new medals, these are new prizes to be earned in competitions going forward. For his contribution to the Corps, CM Hogan has been awarded the Silver Star of the Empire.
Speaking of the Pilot Manual, I've remixed it again so that I can update it on the fly. It's got the two new awards mentioned above plus a number of corrections based on feedback from AD Turtle Jerrar and COL Silwar Naiilo. The graphic elements in this version were put together or inspired by COL Mordechi Wolfe. Thanks, gents!
With input from AD Turtle Jerrar on the technical aspects of making this work in our uniform creation tool, TTT, we're making a change to how Flight Certification Wings are earned. Instead of just being earned through the FCHG rating system, the wings are now earned through a combination of all three rating systems. Basically, add up your FCHG points, combat rating points, and your co-op PvE rating points and your wings will be based on the total. This change isn't live in TTT yet but work is in progress to make that happen.
