First report of 2021! I hope everyone had great times and memories. As for myself, it was really calm for obvious reasons, but there's always another time to have fun. So, I've sent an email earlier this week to Beta pilots about the coming challenges, my plans for 2021 and things we need to achieve them. So far, the replies are encouraging, and I think you for that.

• A new episode of TIE Podcast is available! This time, SA Maverick is talking about the good old days of the Emperor's Hammer. If you are interested the history of the club, this is a must. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6lLhnBTCUw
• A new competition for Star Wars Squadrons is starting soon! The Chalquilla Cup is a 3v3 PVP competition for Star Wars Squadrons, pitting squadrons against others. There's already 5 pilots from Beta who are interested. Are you? Email me or poke me on Discord, we can have a maximum of 6 pilots in the same team!

• He joined two weeks ago, but Beta has a new pilot: SL Jonah J. Jameson ! Welcome!
• As mentioned, I sent an email earlier this week about the plans for 2021, and so far I got a few replies. I'm still waiting news from some pilots too.
• A fleet-wide competition has been launched for a new banner for Beta Squadron. So far, no entries (except that Beta fish! ;) ) but it's still early, so it's fine for now.

We need a new banner, because I like changes (and while the current one is good looking, I feel it's a bit outdated in my taste). There's not a lot of requirements; as long as it's great and represent Beta squadron. Details can be found here: https://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=3241

SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021

Every Single Player mission flown earns the pilot a point on the Kill Board and the top three pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top four pilots earn medals.

Multiplayer competitions:

COO's Star Wars Challenge Episode VII - 2021

Accumulate the most missions in a Star Wars branded approved multiplayer platform. You may submit PvP battles (Legion of Combat) or PvE battles (Legion of Skirmish). You have from 00:00 GMT on the first day of the month to begin and your submissions must be approved by the Combat Operations Office no later than 23:59 GMT on the last day of the month.
