The year has turned. The New Republic is still in power and our glorious fleet is moving through the sectors, trying to keep a low profile.

There were some very nice entries in Silwar's Stay in the Lines Competition. Be sure to check them out!

To celebrate the new year, a new competition for the Entire TC, Pimp my TIE! Take an existing TIE from Canon or Legends and ... pimp it up in your own creative way. Pencil-drawn entries are also accepted.

Meanwhile, most of our current competitions have been canceled in an effort to restructure the competitions for the year ABY 29. More to come on this soon! Be sure to check out newly announced TC competitions in the Competitions Section below.

Graf has been transferred to the Eagle Squadron as their new Flight Leader. Good luck Graf in your new assignment. And remember, once a Lambda always a Lambda!

Current Lambda Squadron Competitions:

• Spot the Error!: Every week, the Lambda Squadron Weekly Report will have intentional errors. Can you find them? Unintended errors will also earn you points.
• The Lambda Saga: Write up fiction relating to Lambda and its pilots (past, present and future). It can include other squadrons and the Emperor's Hammer itself.

Hammer Competitions:

• Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Who is the fastest on the buzzer!?

TIE Corps Competitions:

• Pimp my TIE: Create a graphic externally and internally of a TIE. Can be any type of TIE fighter (as long as it exists in Legends or Canon).
• Squadrons Completionist: A race for the entire TC on who will complete all the achievements of the Squadrons game first.
• January COO Objective Scramble: Squadrons Dogfight: Submit your highest kill game in Dogfight mode flown for the month of January.
• SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021: Every Single Player mission flown earns you a point. I encourage you to fly out entire battles as they tend to be more fun and story driven. You will also earn a citation for our Lambda Squadron!

Notable Events:

• LCM MrShub Star Wars Streaming: Hosted by LCM Shub, streaming every Tuesday and Thursday.
• CM Baiet Star Wars and Star Conflict Streaming: Hosted by CM Baiet, several hours spread over the week.
• Alejandro's Youtube Corner: A place where LC Alejandro regularly uploads videos of his activities with the modded XWA.
• The TIE Pilot's Podcast: Hosted by RA Zekk Terrik and CM Jack Wynand.

I hope everyone had a great year in 2020. A new lockdown is coming, likely to hold until March. Brace for it and make the most of the pluses that come from such a world disaster (more time with the family and a chance to breathe some non-office air).
