The Lambda WSR is a bit delayed this week. Apologies for that. Usually it is out on Monday or Tuesday. Work beat me down with a hard baseball bat. We got plenty of news this week!

In the words of a famous TV Enrertainer from a galaxy far far away. You get a promotion! And you get a promotion! And you get a promotion! And... I get a promotion?

Congratulations to LCM Shub, LCM Graf, LCM Xye (finally it's not a WSR error eh Xye? ;) ) and CPT Genie!

Some bad news, SL Voron Castor, LT Udiim'auw'rokulai and LT Vohnan Dass have been moved to the reserves. The dietary habits of Lambda Squad has had an adverse effect on them, so they have been reassigned to reservist status.

Our 7th Lambda's Star Wars Trivia is out (I pre-posted it on our discord to give you time).

Next Sunday 8pm GMT, we will have our 3rd Lambda Expedition. Last time it was a huge success. Let's go for a repeat of that.

Competition updates, Graf is marching ahead unimpeded in the Imperial University. The fleet librarian had to kick him out of the library. Congratulations to Shub for coming first in Week #1 of the Hammer's speed-trivia. I managed to get an error past the Lambda Squadron yet again this week! 1.5 Errors to be precise, despite Xye's best efforts. Our weekly trivia marches on! Remember to send me your Squadrons stats (see competitions below) via email or discord. It is also time for us to start flying TF / XvT / XWA for our Lambda Citations!

Last but not least, with the exception of one disastrous game, we held our own in the Power Hour against some of the toughest teams, such as RMT. Wins and closely fought loses. On top of that, four Lambdas were involved! Shub, Xye, Graf and Genie. Last week Highlander also gave it a shot. Let's see more of that! And in general, more EHers stepping up to the plate.

• Know your sheep from your wolves - Trivia: The 7th week of trivia has started: Week 7 (16th Nov - 22nd Nov 2020)
• Lambda climbs the Ladder (Squadrons): Submit your Squadrons Fleet Battle Rank for October to Genie.
• Lambs turn to Wieners (Squadrons): Submit your Squadrons Win Ratio for October to Genie.
• Lambdas never die (Squadrons): Submit your Squadrons Highest Kills to Deaths Ratio to Genie.
• Spot the Error!: Every week, the Lambda Squadron Weekly Report will have intentional errors. Can you find them? Unintended errors will also win you points. Lately, several intentional errors have been getting through!
• Lambda University (IWATS): We nurture both our bodies and our minds.
• Lambda executes Emperor's Hammer Directive: Starting from November, one TIE Fighter, XvT, and XWA battle will be selected each month for Lambda to complete.

• Lambda on a Mission: Deep Strike: Design a new TC Battle (number of missions is up to you, subject to TC rules) that heavily involves Lambda in its storyline.
• The Lambda Saga: Write up fiction relating to Lambda and its pilots (past, present and future). It can include other squadrons and the Emperor's Hammer itself.

Hammer Competitions:

• Hammer pilot of the month - 2020: For every flown SP mission from the TC mission compendium and for every LoC/LoS earned each pilot receives 1 point for the Hammer pilot of the month competition.
• Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Speed and accuracy are of essense!

TIE Corps Competitions:

• The Galactic Linguist: Organized by one of our own, LT Deiro. Translate sentences written in a Star Wars language into English! Week #2 (1st Nov - 8th Nov 2020) will be out soon.
• Squadrons Completionist: A race for the entire TC on who will complete all the achievements of the Squadrons game first.
• TC PvP Shootout: Organized by AD Miles, COL Horus and CM EvilGrin. On every Saturday, starting at 22:00 GMT, a PvP shootout will take place.
• Everyone's a Critic: Flown a battle? Write a USEFUL review!
• TIE Corps in Battle 2020: Every month, there will be a full battle assigned to fly, from each of the major SP platforms (TIE, XvT, XWA).

• LCM MrShub Star Wars Streaming: Hosted by LCM Shub, streaming every Tuesday and Thursday.
• CM Baiet Star Wars and Star Conflict Streaming: Hosted by CM Baiet, several hours spread over the week.

I flew XvT the other day. After flying so much Squadrons, it felt weird. I needed a good 20-30 mins of flying to be able to hit enemy fighters. Time to start working on our Squadron Citations (TC Battles). We have our EH executive orders and the freestyling competition to get us started. Lambdas Assemble!
