| INTRODUCTION |
| 'What
do you have there, Gary?' Commander EvilGrin asked the Stormtrooper who
was carrying a tray containing a bowl filled with soup as well as six
green cans of something called Vernor's. 'Admiral Prower's dinner, sir.' The stormtrooper, who everyone on the Aggressor knew as Gary replied. He started the trend of waving at the pilots who were readying for exercises launching off of the Aggressor which was followed in turn by the other troopers who stood in the exercise briefing room. Said initiative got Gary favorable marks on his evaluations from the admiral's office. Gary is not only a consumate professional who is ever vigiliant but he reminds us of the that every Imperial citizen can be an icon even with a small gesture of kindness. 'He's not in the wardroom?' The commander asked. 'No sir, he's in his office and he's left orders for it to be locked. Biohazard warning labels-' 'Hang on, he's a vulpinroid though, I thought vulpinroids don't get sick.' 'Well the med-droid says he's sick, sir. Something about his RTX driver or other.' 'And soup with this Vernor's is supposed to fix that?' 'The admiral's a strange one but he assured Captain Fletcher that he'd be back up and running soon.' 'So what's he been doing in the meantime?' 'Oh he's still working on post-exercise reports, just at a slower pace. Comm-links by text, his voice sounds rotten. Also watches some programs on the holo, I never heard of 'em. The Sweeney and Inspector Morse.' 'Ah well, carry on.' EvilGrin nodded. 'Give him my regards, will you?' 'Aye, sir.' -- That's right everyone, the tin can is a little sick so my response time will be a bit delayed. I've gotten the queue caught up though and our cutoff for month's activity will be tomorrow at 11:59 PM US Eastern Time (GMT -5). I'll also be taking the time after that to calculate winners for COO comps and issuing medals. Commanders will also be need to be aware that evaluations will be coming up. I'll be out of the office on 2 November, that surgery I mentioned in last report got pushed to that date so I have to drive for the affected family member. As a reminder submissions for competitions 3183, 3184 and 3185 must be sent with the highest scoring screenshots for their respective qualifiers to the office e-mail at tc-combat-ops-office@googlegroups.com to be counted |
