We start with bad news unfortunately. LT Lanimret has decided to ship over to the Phoenix for some leave as he is too busy to be able to be an effective flight member. That being said we now have an open spot on Epsilon!

In other news I would like to formally extend congratulations to Rin Jaegar on his LCM Promotion. 'LT Rin Jaeger's dedication and activity together with his friendly, polite and helpful nature make him an important member of Epsilon and the Hammer. For his dedication and work over the past months I recommend a promotion to Lieutenant Commander for him.' Congrats, you deserve it!.

Two new competitions have come this week, this first being the start of the Epsilon Commander's Wingman. Epsilon pilots are to fly missions from the battle listing and earn points. At years end, the pilot with the most points will be named Commander's Wingman. The next one, Art for the Dragonkind, is open to the entire TC and reads as follows. I am opening up the design of the Epsilon Squadron banner as it is a little outdated at the moment. We are not looking for anything specific, just whatever looks best! If you are able to work in the nickname/motto that's extra points in my book. If you have a submission, please email it to baiet.decol@gmail.com. My flight leaders and I will grade submissions and pick our favorite at months end.

Another reminder, EoR for Epsilon is still ongoing so if you have any SC submissions make sure to email them to baiet.decol@gmail.com!

We have been seeing a large influx of members, both new and old, coming to us recently! I would just like to remind everyone to greet and welcome those coming in and to help them with any issues that may arise. It's nice to see our ranks fill up this nicely!

Epsilon Commander's Wingman: Epsilon Pilots will fly SP Missions from the battle listing and accrue points
EoR - 2020: Every week before Saturday, 06:00 UTC, Epsilon pilots submit their SC PvP/PVE/COOP screen with the highest EFF points to baiet.decol@gmail.com

Hammer Competitions:
Hammer pilot of the month - 2020: For every flown SP mission from the TC mission compendium and for every LoC/LoS earned each pilot receives 1 point for the Hammer pilot of the month competition.

TIE Corps Competitions:
Shakespearean-esque lyrics for modern songs: Organized by Talons Pryde. Identify the song title and artist from the alternate wording for either the title of a set of lyrics.
Squadrons Completionist: A race for the entire TC on who will complete all the achievements of the Squadrons +game first.
The TIE Pilot Podcast: Hosted by Zekk and Jack. Email your suggestions to Zekk on topics to cover during the Podcast.
TC PvP Shootout: Organized by AD Miles, COL Horus and CM EvilGrin. On every Saturday, starting at 22:00 GMT, a PvP shootout will take place.
Everyone's a Critic: Flown a battle? Write a USEFUL review!
TIE Corps in Battle 2020: Every month, there will be a full battle assigned to fly, from each of the major SP platforms (TIE, XvT, XWA).
Art for the Dragonkind: I am opening up the design of the Epsilon Squadron banner as it is a little outdated at the moment.

Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Epsilon, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Hammer', 'Wing I' or 'Epsilon Squadron'.

It's been a very busy first week for me starting out as Epsilon Commander and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I'm pretty happy with the level of activity we've gotten because of SWS and I hope to see these levels stay steady. I can't wait to see what these next months have in store, and to propel Epsilon to greater heights than ever before. I'm glad to have the support of mys squad and there is no one else I'd rather have watching my back.
