Welcome to this week's report, pilots. The big news is the Raise the Flag 2020 begins in one week. As FA Plif explained in the latest TCCOM Report, "This is our biggest competition of the year, with quite a few medals to award as well as the coveted titles of Flagship of the TIE Corps and TCCOM's Wingman."
What is Raise the Flag and how can I participate?
All of the things you normally do as a Rho Squadron pilot count toward our RtF points total.
- Fly SP missions
- Fly MP missions
- Write fiction
- Create graphics and drawings
- Participate in bonus competitions
What's at stake?
Awards and ultimate bragging rights.
- The ship with the most points is named Flagship of the TIE Corps
- The squadron with the most points is named the TCCOM’s Own Escort Squadron
- The pilot with the most points is named the TCCOM’s Wingman
Last year, the mighty Warrior failed to win the RtF title for the first time since its activation, and the TIE Corps Admiralty has been forced to reside on the Hammer for the last 12 months. We need to bring them home to the best ship in the fleet.
Where can I learn more?
Raise the Flag has its own website with the rules, points totals, and live scoring. It's fun to follow along day to day. Currently, the site still shows last year's scores and rules, but here's the link:
OK, that's enough RtF announcements for now.
The Empire's Wrath XvT tournament continues this week. LT ERiSi participates in Round 3 while LCM JetMech, LT Epicedion, and your humble CMDR try to move on to the next stage of the second-chance round.
Reminder: It's the last week to fly August's Project 660 assignments (including the bonus assignments). Get those BSFs in by the end of the month, pilots.
