NEWS HEADLINES

- Kappa squadron closed down - new COOA from the Hammer - a vet returns

OVERVIEW

The initial intention when recomissioning the ISD II Challenge as our third ship was to keep all 3 ships at more or less the same numbers. For this the TCCS wanted 1 volunteer squadron from the Hammer and one from the Warrior in addition to one newly comissioned squadron to be transfered to the Challenge. With this step all 3 ships would have been at 3 squadrons. For the Hammer Delta squadron volunteered and has been transfered to the Chalenge as Thunder. For the Warrior, none of the squadrons volunteered. That's why the TCCS decided to close down the least active squadron aboard the Warrior and comission a second fresh squadron aboard the Challenge. So Kappa squadron has been chosen to be closed down, its members had the choice of either being transfered to the RSV or to other active units. That's why all three ISD are at 3 active squadrons right now. This has for sure been a hard decission from the TCCS, but it definately was a just one. On to some good news. One of our own, LT EvilGrin, has been chosen to fulfill the duties of an aditional COOA. Congratulations. I'm sure you'll do a great job! Another veteran returned to the Hammer. Welcome aboard COL Jeron Darkonis Astoris. He joined us as Beta 1-2 after a LONG LONG stint in the RSV.
