NEWS

Top news this week is something we haven't done often. The TIE Corps Pilot Manual has been updated to reflect some of the changes to how we've been operating like the Co-Op PvE Ratings (yes, this update was overdue...) and include new things like descriptions for the secondary positions we've created for specific tasks. This also resolves a long-standing issue where the PDF file wouldn't display properly in Mac OSX or iOS.

We had a ruling come down at the end of May about an incident that'd happened in Discord, my email on the topic is available here on the mailing list and was reproduced as a news item on the site so I won't go over all of that again here. My reminder here will just be to say that everyone should be familiar with the Code of Conduct and Articles of War which I point out to our new recruits and are worth a revisit by our veteran members from time to time.

We have a new Warden of the Imperial Archives (WARD), congratulations to CPT Drake Starfire! He's now our main proponent of fiction activity here in the Corps (and graphics to a lesser extent). He's already sent out a short summary of what he'll be doing and he's got a competition pending in the database that he'll probably share more about soon.

The May evaluations continue with yours truly interfering a bit by trying to tack on some changes that had been discussed but not actually implemented until now, and there's some discussion that's been happening about the impact of some of those changes. Many thanks to those leaders that have spoken up and offered their viewpoint on those decisions.

Imperial Storm is wrapping up its second battle soon. GN Phoenix Berkana has been running the event for us and has once again been doing a great job as our gamemaster.

Merit medals for past FCHG rank achievements have been rolling out, some of you got those notifications on Saturday morning (my time, at least). These are the career achievement medals associated with the Fleet Commander's Honor Guard ranking system for your SP flying endeavors, some of them from long ago but maybe some of you will find a renewed interested in delving into the Battle Center and seeing what our battle and mission designers had created for us.

REMINDERS

If you’d like to submit something for the newsletter, just attach the file to an email and send it to me. If it‘s something that’s already been uploaded somewhere, just email me the URL.

If you complete a new Imperial University course, you'll notice that your EH database profile gets updated automatically but not your TC database profile. The latter are updated manually, please give us a couple of days after your test is graded for the new course to appear in your TC profile before you email us about it.
