Beta Squadron Report - May 23rd 2020

Calm before the storm!

Calm week for Beta squadron, including myself. It’s fine, as we have to get in shape to perform in the next fleet-wide competition, Imperial Storm II ! I’m expecting Beta to be at its top here, with a lot of participation from every members. It’s our chance to shine and be at the top of the mountain! I have no doubt we will be very competitive.

Fleet news

Just like activity in Beta, the fleet’s activity in general was a bit more calm this week.
Epsilon CMDR is still open. If you want the spot, email the Tie Corps Command Staff and the Hammer’s commodore.
Warden and Editor are also still open. The description of both jobs is:

‘’The Warden of the Imperial Archives serves as our main fiction promoter and would be the one adding fiction and graphic submissions to each pilot's profile (example: GN Jarek La'an's profile).The Editor of the Newsletter compiles the TC newsletter, The Commodore, on an irregular schedule (see https://tc.emperorshammer.org/tcnewsletters.php. Squadron News

No big news this week; with Imperial storm coming, I’ll increase the number of emails and general annoyance to make sure everyone is participating in the competition! Even to myself if needed :P

Last week for flying May’s assignments! I’d like us to participate in the TIE Corps in Battle and Everyone’s a critic competitions. It doesn’t require a lot of time and it’s fun to do. May’s assignments are:

You fly them, send your BSF, once they’re approved, send the confirmation to FA Plif and write a review on the TC’s administration page. Simple isn’t it?

Competitions

Imperial Storm Deux has been announced! It’s a big competition involving all squadrons - It’s starting at 21:00 GMT today! It’s a turn-based wargame pitting the Hammer vs. the Warrior. I’m expecting a lot of participation here! I’ll write an email about this specifically to Beta. Recruitment Boost Juice - In addition to the Medal of Instruction for a new member, you’ll get an Iron Star - Bronze Ribbon for recruiting 1 member to Beta squadron, and Iron Star - Silver Ribbon for 2 members and more.

Beta Squadron Ru(i)n-on - I’ve sent an original post this week. Your mission: Write a single post that ‘’ruins’’ the story. I’ll send precision today or tomorrow about it, as I think the instructions are a bit confusing.

Here’s a few fleet-wide competitions currently going on:

TC PvP Shootout

A MP Event for the whole TC will take place from 22:00 (10:00 PM) GMT every Saturday if possible.
Supported platforms are XvT and XWA and the main contacts are COL Horus Blackheart and the COO.

Voice communication is preferable but not required to participate. Game hosting will be directed through GameRanger or a more suitable system based on compatibility and stability.

A DFC will be awarded to the highest scoring pilot. COO guidelines required, which apply in full force (at least 3 different opponents, EH or not, defeated and +3 win/lose ratio, plus the need of having a minimum of 3 EH players playing on that game platform).

Pilots will be awarded an IS-BW for participating in at least 10 matches.

Everyone's a Critic

TIE Corps in Battle 2020

Every month, a battle is selected for XWA, XvT and TIE. We fly it, we beat the high score, we get a lot of points, and at the end of the year, we get nice, shiny medals. AND YOU CAN DO ‘’Everyone’s a Critic’’ AT THE SAME TIME! *mind blown*
