ISDII WARRIOR REPORT #1

NEWS

Welcome to my first report as Commodore ever.

The first week as Commodore of the ISDII Warrior was exciting but quiet.  I set up everything that is necessary in my office and delivered the last empty bottles of alcohol from the previous COM to him with the note: “Full bottles of alcohol are a better welcome present for your new boss!”

First meetings with the Squadron CMDRs had taken place in the office. The meetings were about nothing special, they were a catch up for me to get an overview about the current standings, procedures, and activities on the Warrior. I think with the beginning of June I will be able to set up my own standards and regularities for the Warrior. (No fear, nothing to hard for you to follow.)

For starters I set up a competition for a new logo for our Telegram channel. The old logo was designed for the Warrior League 2016 and is not up to date anymore. So everyone who is interested in designing a new one take a look at the competition description below.

Furthermore, I started a new Trivia competition for the Warrior. I used Google Forms for it. The participation link you can find in the Competitions section of this report, as well.

Also fellow Warriors join up our Telegram channel! “It is our safe space free of certain other hammer pilots!” (quote GN Yoda).
As a second step for participation I have reactivated the old mail group of Wing II. To every active member a link to join was sent. When you do not have joined or get a link please check your mail folders. I want to use this group in future for a information platform and competition platform.

What I have been up to since my last report:

• Arriving on the new ship  
• Catching up with the CMDRs about current standards on the Warrior  
• Setting up new competitions
• Reschedule everything to fit in the day to day business of a new Commodore  
• Overwhelmed by the high amount of mails I received in one week.

CLOSING COMMENTS

The only way forward is through.
