• This Combat Event awards the Distinguished Flying Cross for the pilot who submits a victory screenshot with the highest number of kills and half assists one can get in one round of a Star Conflict match. For this event, assists are counted but only at half weight and result are 'rounded down'. For instance if a pilot has 10 kills and 5 assists, the match would be recorded as 12. Submissions to this competition are made through the database like any other 24/7 LoC submission. While processing LoCs, the COO and COOA keep an eye out for new personal bests and update a shared spreadsheet. When a pilot has won the DFC 3 times in a row, they cannot win it for a fourth month. Their points will be tracked but not counted for the combat event. For their efforts, they will be rewarded with an IS-SW.
  

• On every Saturday starting at 6:00 PM Eastern/11:00 PM GMT, a PvP shootout will take place. The COO and COOA are the main points of contact. Voice communication is preferable but not required. Game hosting will be directed through GameRanger or a more suitable system based upon compatability and stability. A DFC will be awarded to the highest scoring pilot. COO guidelines apply in full force (at least three different opponents, EH or non, defeated and a +3 win/loss ratio plus the need of having a minimum of 3 EH players on that game platform). Pilots will be awarded an IS-BW for participating in at least 10 matches.
