Beta Squadron Report - May 8th 2020
Recruits, recruits! My TIE Fighter for recruits!
We got two new recruits in the squadron, which make us 6 pilots in Beta squadron. That’s great news! Halfway to get a full squadron, the goal! Don’t forget that we have the Recruitment Boost Juice competition going on until the end of the month, 6 more opportunities to get more rewards! Once again, welcome SL Garriald and SL Witchblade!
Fleet news
A lot of new (old) faces have taken some command positions in the fleet:
- MAJ Aldaric is the new Kappa CMDR. Congrats!
- GN Jarek La’an is the new Communication officer!
- Some promotions: LCM Firebreaker Terrik, LCM Genie and LC Araujo. Great job all of you!
- AD Miles Prower is leaving our ship for a new job as COO. It was truly an honour sir! Hope you will enjoy your new responsibilities! Coming in as the new Commodore is High Admiral Elwood the Brave (who was also awarded a Grand Order of the Emperor for the second time, wow!). Welcome aboard sir!
Squadron News
Monthly squadron evaluation’ rewards have been awarded to the pilots! Great work everyone.
As mentioned above, we got two new pilots - SL Garriald and SL Witchblade, who were well received by the fleet.
LCM SkyShadow was selected as the new Flight Leader of Beta’s flight II. Very nice and well deserved!
I’d like us to participate in the TIE Corps in Battle and Everyone’s a critic competitions. It doesn’t require a lot of time and it’s fun to do. May’s assignements are:
- TIE-TC battle 96: Deep Strike
- XvT-TC battle 77: Assassination Time
- XWA-TC battle 65: The Garuda - The Fight Continues
You fly them, send your BSF, once they’re approved, send the confirmation to FA Plif and write a review on the TC’s administration page. Simple isn’t it?

Competitions

- Every month, a battle is selected for XWA, XvT and TIE. We fly it, we beat the high score, we get a lot of points, and at the end of the year, we get nice, shiny medals. AND YOU CAN DO ‘’Everyone’s a Critic’’ AT THE SAME TIME! *mind blown*

Final word
There’s plenty to do right now to get active in the fleet - we got a run-on going on, a lot of single and multiplayer competitions, trivia, etc. Participate and have fun!
On a real life note, I’m having a hard time sleeping since I’m working from home - nearly two months now. While this give me more time to fly, it makes me incredibly tired, which in turn makes it harder for me to write properly, both English and French. So if I’m forgetting words, mixing both languages or don’t make sense, just tell me and I’ll rewrite wat I’m trying to say haha! And hopefully get some good sleep soon :P
