I didn’t mention this last week like I should have so it’s our top news this week. The Warden of the Imperial Archives (WARD) was previously the officer assigned to be the main point of contact for fiction and graphics archiving and running the Imperial Storm exercise. Those two things aren’t inherently linked and the WARD felt like he was more interested in one than the other, so we’ve split up those responsibilities. The WARD will continue to support fiction and graphics in the TIE Corps and the Simulations Officer (SIMS) will be our gamemaster for Imperial Storm. The first SIMS is GN Phoenix Berkana of Delta Squadron! WARD is open for applications as well as Editor of the TC Newsletter (EDR), we’ll be bringing that phase to a close after we announce who the Commodores will be. Speaking of Commodores, the time for applications has closed and the TCCS will be choosing a new COM for the ISDII Hammer and a new COM for the ISDII Warrior soon. A few days ago, we launched polls for Classic Battlefront II and Elite Dangerous with the intent of getting a feel for what everybody thinks about possibly adding those games to our stable. I’ve posted a summary of the results for one of them on the message board, which I think would be the best place to have a good discussion about them. Squadron (Re)Mobilization ended a few days ago and we have all eight squadrons able to change up something about their profile, four of them having the opportunity to change everything including their very name. More news about that as choices are made. We have a new Kappa KMDR returning to his station, good luck to MAJ Aldaric on his latest tour of duty! I was reminded by an eagle-eyed officer that many competition titles from 2019 hadn’t been awarded in the database yet. Ace of the TC, MP Ace of the TC, COOP Ace of the TC, TCoR Winner, TCAI Winner, COO's Star Wars Challenge Champion, TIE Corps Battlemaster, Lord of the TIEs, and TCCOM's Wingman all have someone holding the 2019 edition of those titles. If you earned a title from a competition that isn’t reflected on your profile, please let me know. To allow for polls and other long answer uses of the Timed Event function in the database, GN Dempsey added a long answer option. Each question in a Timed Event may now have a short text answer field or a long text answer field, which is exactly what I needed. Thanks, Dempsey! Anybody else that used the Timed Event function for things like trivia will also have this option. |

If you’d like to submit something for the newsletter, just attach the file to an email and send it to me. If it‘s something that’s already been uploaded somewhere, just email me the URL. If you complete a new Imperial University course, you'll notice that your EH database profile gets updated automatically but not your TC database profile. The latter are updated manually, please give us a couple of days after your test is graded for the new course to appear in your TC profile before you email us about it. |
