INTRODUCTION
Well things certainly kicked off to a great start last week! We have attached four Recon Officer Assistants to the office and I am willing to take more on. Let me go ahead and explain what that entails here.

The Recon Officer Assistant (ROA) position is an auxiliary, voluntary limited duty position to where one or more of the following duties are fulfilled:
  • Assisting the Recon Officer in scheduling and preparing Office streams
  • Assisting the Recon Officer in collecting statistics and reports regarding streaming activity.
  • Providing technical support alongside the Recon Officer to EH members that need help setting up streaming or troubleshooting.
  • Recruiting and retention for the subgroups, recruiting new membership and checking in with inactive/reserve members to see if they are interested in returning.

The Recon Office is on the cusp of completing a course in order to familarise personnel with streaming basics. It's currently awaiting review and feedback from the Training Officer in Phase 1.

Availability (Times in US Eastern)
Month of April due to schedule changes at work for COVID-19
Days Working: Sunday-Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM Eastern Time
Days Off: Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Assuming the emergency clears by May, I will be returning to normal schedule working the same days from 12:30 PM to 11:30 PM. This may be subject to change.

OFFICE ACTIVITY
04/13/2020 - The Recon Officer staffed the office with ROAs LC Zekk Terrik, MAJ Alejandro Araujo and LCM Mirei Seppen and briefed them on duties, as well as assigned their Discord roles after creating the Recon Office channel in the TIE Corps Discord.

04/17/2020 - CPT Lanil Jast joined the Office as an ROA. The RO obtained a new microphone and monitor for streaming.

04/18/2020 - The RO as well as MAJ Alejandro Araujo intend to be present for the TIE Corps April Shootout MP Event. The RO will likely be broadcasting.


The RO is enjoying his last coffee before he likely dies at the hand of the other pilots in today's combat event. He's wearing the right coloured shirt.
