Eventually I will get back to
this… |
News |
This report
would have been out Sunday night, but for the fact that I took a work trip
and forgot my computer, including my work computer! But, I am back in
the saddle now! First,
congratulations to the newly minted LT Cloud Striker! Also, we said goodbye (for now) to MAJ
Shadow Fenn, who transferred to the reserves for a little rest. And that’s all the news… There has
been a thread going around about everyone’s favorite video games of all time,
started by Mirei, though. I think I will use and abuse the privilege
of my position to list mine: 1.
Civilization II 2.
X-Wing Alliance 3.
MarioKart
64 4.
KOTOR 5.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) 6.
Need for Speed: Porche
Unleashed 7.
Star Wars Galaxies 8.
Goldeneye 9.
Diablo II 10. Sid Meier’s Pirates |

(Mind Games) BSF’s
are due by midnight GMT on February 29th. Rules: Every month, there
will be a full battle from each of the
major SP platforms (TIE, XvT, XWA) assigned. Pilots will fly each
battle that they choose and BSF the battles to the TC database and forward
the BSF email to Pete Mitchell. If the pilot has earned a high
score, BSF it and also send the pilot file to Pete Mitchell in case the BSF
is not approved in time. Please also forward the BSF confirmation to
Pete Mitchell as well. Each month the pilot
with the highest score in each platform will earn 8 points. The
next highest score will earn 7, the next highest 6, then 5, then 4 and so
on. All submissions will earn at least
3 points. Any mission high scores, will earn 1 bonus point, and
any battle high scores will earn 2 bonus points. High scores are determined at the time the
BSF was submitted. If a high score is
beat by another pilot in the same competition that submitted after, both
pilots will receive the bonus points.
If a pilot submits a BSF that would have been a high score, but was
beat by another pilot that submitted before, no bonus points will be awarded
to the second submission. Points will
accumulate for the year for more awards.
Participation points
will also be tallied by ship and squadron.
One point per battle flown.
