The December evaluations are well underway with one squadron’s complete and the rest making good progress. Well done, everyone!

Season Four of the Trivia Grand Tour wrapped up since last time with GN Pickled Yoda retaining the championship belt. Big thanks to everyone that participated this season! Season Five will kick off in February, though we’ll have to wait on Rise of Skywalker questions for another few months. I also want to do some more tweaking to the scoring system, but I’m not sure what specifically I want to change yet.

There and Back Again: A COMPOST Tale continues with two participants so far and no new reviews. The competition ends on the 22nd so there’s only about two weeks left, don’t put it off too long!

With Episode IX in theaters and The Mandalorian having concluded its first season, we’d like any spoiler discussions to take place in the Telegram channel we’ve set aside for anyone who’s ready to chat about the latest things happening in the Star Wars Universe. To join up, ask about the spoiler chat in the TIE Corps Discussion group and one of us will send you an invite.

If you complete a new Imperial University course, you'll notice that your EH database profile gets updated automatically but not your TC database profile. The latter are updated manually by me and the TCCOM, please give us a couple of days after your test is graded for the new course to appear in your TC profile before you email us about it.

DONE:

• Picked up Rebel Galaxy Outlaw and finally put the throttle from my HOTAS setup into use
• Put together a short guide for dealing with Gmail’s spam filter with regard to TC and EH database notifications
• Put together a new post for GN Branet’s Gold Star, which reminded me that we don’t post news for nearly as much as we could be...
• Reported a few needed updates to the database concerning the switch to the COO being the one to approve competitions
• Submitted a few awards for the COO that he won from the competitions he’s running

ONGOING:

• There and Back Again: A COMPOST Tale
• Acting Kappa KMDR
• Approving awards, competitions, and uniforms, correcting submissions as needed
• Updating TC database profiles with IU course completions
• Keeping track of CoB eligibility

IN PROGRESS:

• Improving promotion tracking in the MSE spreadsheets
• TIE Corps Pilot Manual update
• December evaluations

PENDING:

• Taking TM/3
• Updating SM to SM/5
• Title review for anything that awarded a title that isn’t reflected in the database yet
• Competition resource - what we’ve done before to serve as a pool of ideas for what we can do next
• Squadron (Re)Mobilization tweaking and next iteration, target is late January
• Figuring out another solution for completing the evaluation feedback loop
• Working out details for the next iteration of Imperial Storm
• December MoCs
