Pete Goes Somewhere

“So you have what I’m looking for?  Good, I can be there in 12 hours.”  Pete hung up his communicator.  Thought for one second, then grabbed a packed bag and walked out of his quarters.  He didn’t take the normal route to the hangar, though.  Instead, he took the long way through the service turbolift.  It brought him right up to Hangar 2, where he kept his personal TIE Maverick, a gift from VA Hav Antiel.  Before going to his ship, he gave some liquor to the hangar supervisor to keep his destination quiet. 

He launched, make a right turn, and shot into hyperspace. 

News

First, congratulations to SL8c8 on his promotion to Commander!  Well-deserved as confirmed by the TIE Corps in Battle results for November, which he took the Gold on!

Thanks to LT Merei Seppen emailing the reserves and inactives, we have also had several return to active duty.  Please welcome LT Jack Wynand to Sin, LT Alexander Sunfell to Theta, LC Zekk Terrik to Alpha, and MAJ Gustan to Alpha! 

CPT Alejandro Araujo also requested a reorganization of Alpha Squadron, which I’ve done.  The reorganization puts LT Syntroth and COL Talons Pryde as FL’s, so congratulations!

On a final note, we really are in desperate need of some new CMDR’s.  It is a very important position.  Is anyone willing to step up?  We really need 3 new CMDR’s right now.  Thanks,

BSF’s are due by midnight GMT on December 31^st.

Rules:

Every month, there will be a full battle from each of the major SP platforms (TIE, XvT, XWA) assigned.  Pilots will fly each battle that they choose and BSF the battles to the TC database and forward the BSF email to Pete Mitchell.  If the pilot has earned a high score, BSF it and also send the pilot file to Pete Mitchell in case the BSF is not approved in time.  Please also forward the BSF confirmation to Pete Mitchell as well. 

Each month the pilot with the highest score in each platform will earn 10 points.  The next highest score will earn 9, the next highest 8, then 7, then 6 and so on.  All submissions will earn at least 5 points.  Any mission high scores, will earn 1 bonus point, and any battle high scores will earn 2 bonus points.  High scores are determined at the time the BSF was submitted.  If a high score is beat by another pilot in the same competition that submitted after, both pilots will receive the bonus points.  If a pilot submits a BSF that would have been a high score, but was beat by another pilot that submitted before, no bonus points will be awarded to the second submission.  Points will accumulate for the year for more awards. 

Participation points will also be tallied by ship and squadron.  One point per battle flown.  Flying participants of top participating ships and squadrons will earn extra rewards.

Annual:

IS-PW/GW/SW for 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd total points for the year.  (at least 5 participants)

IS-GW/SW/BW for 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd total points for the year in each platform (at least 4 participants)

IS-GW/SW/BW for all flying members of squadrons with 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd total participation points.

IS-GW/SW/BW for all flying members of ships with 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd total participation points.

Monthly:

IS-GW/SW/BW for 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd total points for the month (at least 3 participants).

IS-SW/BW for 1^st and 2^nd in each platform (at least 2 participants).
