COO Report # 1 (2019-11-04)

This report was submitted by COO/RA John T. Clark/TC-3/VSDII Aggressor

and Hello, as I've been on the road way longer over the weekend than I anticipated, this will be only a short and decidedly unfancy report. First of all thank you to the Admiralty for having faith in me, and giving me the opportunity to fill the COO position. Also big thanks to everyones who send me some nice words and congratulations during the past week. You should have read Silvius last week and him pointing out, that all COO competitions will continue until the end of the year. Please send required screenshots etc to me. As we have new regular Star Conflict players in our midst - yes I am looking at you CPT Araujo and LT Seppen - I'd like to remind everyone about the two ongoing weekly SC competitions: TIE Corps on Recon 2019 and TIE Corps vs. AI 2019 In the current week I've only received screenshots from GN Branet, who thus won without a competition. Speaking of Competition Results: For October 2019 the final standing for the COO combat competitions are: MP Ace of the TIE Corps 2019: GN Elwood the Brave: 84 victories IS-GW CPT Alejandro Araujo: 75 victories IS-SW RA John T. Clark: 50 victories IS-BW MP Co-Op Ace of the TIE Corps 2019: GN Elwood the Brave: 1006 victories IS-GW CPT Alejandro Araujo: 310 victories IS-SW COL Silvius: 250 victories IS-BW COO's Star Wars Challenge - Epsiode V: GN Elwood the Brave: 60 victories IS-GW FA Plif: 29 victories IS-SW COL Impulse: 18 victories IS-BW COO Monthly Assignment 2019 - Star Conflict: GN Elwood the Brave: 47 PvP kills IS-GW CPT Alejandro Araujo: 15 PvP kills IS-SW GN Anahorn Dempsey: 12 PvP kills IS-BW COO's Monthly Challenge 2019: GN Elwood the Brave: 54 PvP kills + 1/2 assists DFC CPT Alejandro Araujo: 19 PvP kills + 1/2 assists GN Anahorn Dempsey: 17 PvP kills + 1/2 assists That shall be all for this report. Speaking of which: you see the barebones of it so far, if anyone sends me a nice little html template to work with until next Friday I will not need to design my own on Saturday and your eyes will be spared further crimes... As I am on the road, on average, every other weekend my reports will be regularily out on Saturdays or Mondays. Deadlines for competitions are not based on reports, but on dates, so keep that in mind, when thinking about sending in your screenshots. If nothing else is specified in the competition descriptions the deadline for weekly submissions is Saturdays 0800 UTC. Until the end of the year, with the expected usual dwindle in activity between November and February, I will continue the current competitions etc. on the previously established rules and COO guidelines. There might be some changes with the new year, and I am hoping to get at least monthly or even weekly competitions analogue to our ongoing Star Conflict assignments going for EA-BF2 as our most modern game. That being said, I run an open door policy and am available to everyone who has ideas for competitions and events. COO Riddle 2019: NOTE: I need to re-check last week's results with COL Silvius and/or the googlegroup 'archive' as I of course deleted all but the first reply to last week's riddle. Every week I will include an encoded transmission in my COO report. Your task will be to decode the transmission. The code will be different every time, and the solution must be an readable and understandable English sentence. The theme of the transmission will be the Star Wars based. The first pilot sending the correct answer to the mailing list wins and get an IS-BR. 5th victory will be updated to an IS-SR, 10th to an IS-GR and 25th to an IS-PR. The 2nd pilot who send the correct answer to the list will be given 3 points, the 3rd pilot 2 points and everyone else 1 point. Those points will be summed up: 10 points will give you a IS-BR and 25 points an IS-SR. Transmission: 'Aljk uzu kyv Bvjjvc Ile ze 12 grijvtj.' Hint: B is an encoded K. That's it for today, enjoy your week! COO/RA John T.
