Squadron News:
-Lieutenant Commander Tuba wins trivia again! This week's theme was "Traitors!" As a result of his third win in four rounds, I'm going to exempt him from winning Round Thirteen. No offense meant, I just want to give the rest of the squadron a shot at the medal. I'm almost afraid that he's stalking me as quick as he sends back his answers...
-Most of the squadron has completed LCM Tuba's Starfighter Weaponry IWATS Course and will receive IS-BRs, if they already haven't. If you have not completed the course, you have until 5:00 GMT on Sunday to complete it. You can find the course at: http://iwats.ecsquest.info/SFW
Wing News:
-Gamma Squadron Commander is still open for applications, I think...
-The Wing Commander is back from leave!
TIE Corps News:
-Security Office Report #28 was released. You can read it here.
-The website was apparently going to be updated on Wednesday, but I haven't seen any changes, so I'm in a holding pattern on doing things on it...
-HA Havoc won the "Cats Away" Fiction competition, while GN Kaisin Mirtez took runner-up.
-No details yet on that multiplayer competition...

Q1: What traitor graduated at the top of his class at the Academy of Carida before attacking his commanding officer in order to save a Wookie, who he then traveled the galaxy with, in the piece of junk known as the Millennium Falcon.

Q2: What childhood friend of Luke Skywalker, attended the Naval Academy at Prefsbelt IV, where he was taught by Soontir Fel before participating in the mutiny aboard the Rand Ecliptic?
A2: Biggs Darklighter
Q3: What traitor served as one of the first Star Destroyer captains in the days of the Old Republic, where he revolutionized space combat tactics, before entering retirement on Brelor during the early days of the New Order. COMPNOR later determined him to be too big of a threat to leave alive and ordered his assassination, which failed and drove him to the Rebellion’s cause. He helped to plan the attack on the first Death Star, resulting in the death of millions of Imperial citizens.

Q4: What traitor attended the Raithal Academy before entering the Imperial Army, where he was placed in command of the first unit of Storm Commandos, an elite strike force developed to counter Rebel guerilla operations. Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, he defected to the Rebellion, providing them with crucial information regarding the Dark Trooper Project. He was later chosen to coordinate the destruction of the shield generator on the Forest Moon of Endor.

Q5: What Imperial Admiral defected to the Rebellion shortly after the Battle of Hoth? His secret meeting with the Rebel Leader Mon Mothma is shown at the end of the first Battle in TIE Fighter. He was later brought to justice, with the assistance of Maarek Stele, and executed by Lord Vader after his interrogation aboard the ISD Garrett.

Q6: What traitor was born on Alderaan and like Biggs Darklighter, trained under Soontir Fel on Prefsbelt IV, though he was never able to defeat Fel in simulation? He remained loyal to the Empire in light of the defection of his friends, Derek Klivian and Darklighter. After the destruction of Alderaan he went AWOL when his ship stopped at Commenor and joined the Rebellion soon after. He was recruited into Rogue Squadron by Luke Skywalker and would later go on become Rogue Leader in 11 ABY.

All other correct answers will earn one point. The pilot with the most points by the release of my weekly report wins! Trivia questions will relate to Star Wars and the Emperor's Hammer. Answers can be found at any number of sources, Wikipedia, Wookiepedia, the Encyclopedia Imperia, etc.

Commander’s Thought’s:
It's been a long week at work for me and I'm ready to crash for the night, so I'll be brief.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the report, I'm going to exempt Tuba from winning Trivia this week. I will acknowledge his trivia supremacy though :P I will probably take up a policy that if someone wins two in a row, I will exempt them from winning a third. I just want to give everyone a chance to win some medals.
I'm pleased with the completion rate of the SFW Course and hope that everyone can get it completed. I know that Tuba is working with Sergeyli to get it translated so he can complete it. I will probably accept completions a little past the deadline, but probably no more than a day or two.
I'm really hoping that the new website is up and running soon, things are kind of in a holding pattern until then, I guess...
