Pete Recovers Pete climbed
out of the bacta tank in the medical bay of the
Challenge. He showered off and put his
uniform back on. He looked at his knee
braces, but decided against wearing them.
They were too much of a pain. “Can I fly
yet, Doc?” MAJ Murdock
looked at Pete and shook his head. “No,
you’ve got at least a few more weeks.
Don’t make me restrain you to keep you from flying…” “Ok, Ok, I
just thought I’d ask.” Just then
Pete’s comlink beeped. “Fleet Admiral Mitchell, How are you
recovering?” “I’m doing
well Hav, but the Doc still won’t let me fly.” “Well, that’s
too bad, but be patient. In the
meantime, I have something to show you.
Can you swing by the Warrior’s hangar?” “Last time I
was there, I got splattered all over the side of your ship! But, yes I can catch a ride over there” Pete sat in
the cabin of a transport on his way to the Warrior and couldn’t stop thinking
about how awful it is to not fly at all.
The transport landed and the ramp opened up. Pete stood and walked down the ramp with a
slight limp. VA Hav
Antiel was waiting for him. There was
no one else around. “A smaller
welcoming committee than normal…” “You were
never one for formality anyway.” “True.” “This is
top secret anyway.” Hav lead Pete over
to the corner of the hangar which was cordoned off with temporary walls and a
few guards. “What have
you got here?” “Step
inside…” Pete walked
in the large room within the hangar and couldn’t believe his eyes… |

TCCOM’s
log: It’s been two weeks since my last
report. I hang my head in shame… Welcome to
the rare but beautiful gem of a TCCOM report!
It’s been a heck of a week in RL that sapped all my energy, but
hopefully I get some reprieve from work now.
In the past
two weeks, we’ve got plenty of news. We welcomed LCM Favdaukar
back to the fleet as he joined Sin Squadron and said goodbye for now to LT Jaxx as he left for the reserves. We also had
two promotions. First COL Earnim
Branet, the esteemed CMDR of Sin Squadron became General Earnim Branet! SL8c8 was also promoted to LCM. MSE’s are
underway and the Warrior’s are complete. I will be looking through the Hammer’s
shortly. Also, the
Kappa KMDR position is open for applications.
MAJ Aldaric will stay in place until a replacement is found. This is a great way for anyone willing to
step up to help advance their career with rewarding work! Please send applications to VA Hav Antiel. The
Saturday evening TC vs RS MP night is now official, so show up at 7 pm EST/4
pm pacific for those matches and work towards a DFC! TC folks
are still meeting up on Thursdays, though we have changed the time to 8pm
EST, 5PM Pacific. |
