Welcome to the first week of May. I wish we could start the month on a more cheerful note. But as most of you have already heard, Peter Mayhew, the lengendary tall man that brought our favorite wookie to life, has passed away at the age of 74. Some of you newer pilots might not know, or remember, but back in the day, the EH/TC Command Staff and board of directors would be lucky enough to interview some of the Star Wars actors and cast. Upon which they were granted honorary membership into the EH. Peter was one of them. May the Force be with him.

I have compiled and submitted the April MSE for Theta Squadron. The recommendations are on the way up the chain. Great job everyone. And just let me say thank you and congratulations on another active month. Makes a CMDR proud.

Raise the Flag has been postponed until September so as to not interfere with the summer plans for our members.

The Theta Squadron Uniform Patch, which was recently updated before La'ans departure, needed a little tweak. The white border was just a little to thin to render properly on the site, as well as through the Tailoring Tool. So a big thank you to FA Plif for updating the patch! Take a look on my profile to see how it looks on a uniform. Let me know if you need assistance to update your version of the Tailoring Tool.

Please keep an eye on the Competition Center. There's a little something for everyone, and what better way to keep active than to support the competition creators. Don't miss out! You don't need to finish first every time.....just finish!

• Monthly Squadron Evalutions have been compiled and sent.

IN THE WORKS:

• Theta Site: At the very least, I was hoping to showcase the new Theta site this week. I wasn't able to get as much done as I had planned, so maybe by the beginning of next week.

STANDING ORDERS:

• Keep consistent. Whether it's just an email or two a week, a few comments on Telegram, or 100 BSFs...do what you can, when you can!

As per my usual way of command, I have an open door policy, and a round table, town hall type forum. So if there is anything you need, just let me know. I've got your back!
