The end of April in a few days brings us to another round of evaluations and the new spreadsheets promise to make that a more efficient process than it’s been in the past. For example, if an individual CMDR complete his update and the COM makes his comments, I’ll go ahead and start my review even if the other two CMDRs from that ship are still working on their updates. That breaks the idea of having a “ship evaluation”, but I think the leadership will agree that the focus has always been on the squadrons anyway.

Like we do with the new Star Wars movies that come out, let’s avoid spoilers for the new Avengers: Endgame on open comm channels, alright? I definitely understand the excitement and it’s really tempting to want to say something about it having seen the movie, but we’ve got a diverse crowd and not everybody’s seeing these movies at the same time. That said, if you’ve been keeping up with the Marvel movies, I highly recommend that you see this movie sooner rather than later to avoid having some surprises spoiled for you!

If you complete a new Imperial University course, you'll notice that your EH database profile gets updated automatically but not your TC database profile. The latter are updated manually by me and the TCCOM, please give us a day or two after your test is graded for the new course to appear in your TC profile before you email us about it.

We have a weekly MP event with the Rebel Squadrons on Saturdays at 7pm Eastern. Participants meet up on the Neutral Ground server on Discord.

DONE:

• Wrapped up Week Eleven of the Trivia Grand Tour and posted a shortened set of results as a news post in the database
• Switched accounts in Telegram to help split my EH stuff from the other things I use TG for
• (finally) Posted the MoC list for March to the database
• Sent a potential tweak to Theta’s squadron patch to LC Rosenau
• Uploaded SOO Report #37 to the database a week late, not sure how I forgot that but it’s fixed now!

IN PROGRESS:

• Adding more historical data to the evaluation spreadsheets

ONGOING:

• Approving awards, competitions, and uniforms, correcting submissions as needed
• Keeping track of CoB eligibility

PENDING:

• Taking TM/3
• TIE Corps Pilot Manual update
• Updating SM to SM/5
• Title review for anything that awarded a title that isn’t reflected in the database yet
• Trivia Grand Tour bonus rounds
• The upcoming May the 4th sounds like a good time for one!
• Building the CMDR pool
• Report automation/shortcutting
• Maybe redirecting some things to news posts in the database instead? Not sure yet.
