Date Submitted: March 17, 2019
From: TCCOM/AD Pete Mitchell
To: Entire TIE Corps Fleet

Pete Smokes a Stogie

FA Pete Mitchell looked at AD Plif patiently while Plif finished sipping his whiskey.

“It’s a bit risky Pete.” Plif was genuinely worried with this plan.

FA Pete Mitchell exhaled cigar smoke.  “I know, but tensions have eased over the last decade, and Horus has made it back alive several times.”

“Bait for catching the bigger fish.”

“That’s where you come in.  We have donated a sector to this endeavor along with an old PLT, Charlie.  You can rig it with all the surveillance gear you want, which will broadcast live back to you.  If you see anything fishy, you can bust in with the whole fleet and rescue me.”

“And start a war.”

“Yes, and start a war.  If one is going to happen, it will happen.  I don’t think that will be the case here.  Anyway, isn’t that what we were trained for?”

“Yes, it is,” Plif took another sip “but the good whiskey is very hard to keep in stock in the middle of a war.”

“You’ve always got your priorities straight.  Trust me and trust Horus on this one.  Our pilots could use the training, and there could be a larger threat out there than just the RS.  We may need them one day.”

“Oh great, you’ve totally put my mind at ease…”

“That’s the spirit!  We will depart at 1900 hours Saturday.”

It’s been mostly quiet except for all the MP going on!

TC folks are still meeting up on Thursdays, though we have changed the time to 8pm EST, 5PM Pacific.

Yesterday (Saturday), the TC and RS joined up for another MP event with the RS.  This will now be attempted to turn into a regular thing at 7 pm EST on Saturdays, so show up to vaporize some rebels!

XWA-TC 7: Assault on Chimera

BSF’s are due by Midnight GMT March 31st.

Every month, there will be a full battle from each of the major SP platforms (TIE, XvT, XWA) assigned.  Pilots will fly each battle that they choose and BSF the battles to the TC database and forward the BSF email to Pete Mitchell.  If the pilot has earned a high score, BSF it and also send the pilot file to Pete Mitchell in case the BSF is not approved in time.  Please also forward the BSF confirmation to Pete Mitchell as well.

Each month the pilot with the highest score in each platform will earn 10 points.  The next highest score will earn 9, the next highest 8, then 7, then 6 and so on.  All submissions will earn at least 5 points.  Any mission high scores, will earn 1 bonus point, and any battle high scores will earn 2 bonus points.  High scores are determined at the time the BSF was submitted.  If a high score is beat by another pilot in the same competition that submitted after, both pilots will receive the bonus points.  If a pilot submits a BSF that would have been a high score, but was beat by another pilot that submitted before, no bonus points will be awarded to the second submission.  Points will accumulate for the year for more awards.

Participation points will also be tallied by ship and squadron.  One point per battle flown.  Flying participants of top participating ships and squadrons will earn extra rewards.
