SOO REPORT #30

REPORTING OFFICER: Admiral Plif, Strategic Operations Officer
DATE SUBMITTED: 17 Feb 2019

NEWS

After what appears to be several years of slowly-moving development, TIE Corps Core has finally received the update it sorely needed. LC Kyle Kroan has been awarded the Bronze Star of the Empire for his hand in compiling the update and I think we'll see evaluation recommendations that mention the update for several other officers as well. If you haven't taken TCCORE yet, now's the time to get it done! Shoutout to the FSE for updating the notes URL on the TC database, definitely appreciate that.

I didn't mention evaluations last time, but since then we've gotten the Warrior's evaluation processed (MoCs pending) and we're awaiting the Hammer's. Merit medals for the Warrior's pilots have been awarded and appear in the Awards section below.

The Trivia Grand Tour continues. The URL for Week Two, which wraps up later tonight, is http://tc.emperorshammer.org/timetest.php?testid=507804. Congratulations to the top two from Week One, GN Mark Schueler and GN Pickled Yoda!

REMINDERS

If you complete a new Imperial University course, you'll notice that your EH database profile gets updated automatically but not your TC database profile. The latter are updated manually by me and the TCCOM, please give us a day or two after your test is graded for the new course to appear in your TC profile before you email us about it.

MP Nights for XvT and XWA are on Thursdays at 4:30pm Pacific, we meet up in the Hangar voice channel in TC Discord.

AWARDS
LC Kyle Kroan
For the creation of the Imperial Shield Technician course for the Imperial University, which launched back in July 2018
LC Kyle Kroan
Long, long ago, LC Kyle Kroan submitted updated text for the TIE Corps Core notes that were woefully out of date. Those notes were added to, reformatted, and are now finally the official course notes that are linked to from the course's page in the Imperial University. To recognize his contributions to the update, I hereby award him the Bronze Star of the Empire.
COL Earnim Branet
COL Earnim Branet started 2019 strong, completing 10 SP missions and earning 19 LoCs, 77 LoSs, and 31 Iron Stars. Outside of the cockpit, COL Branet continued to shine, leading Sin Squadron with regular reports and an active monthly competition. For this level of activity, I recommend the Bronze Star of the Empire.
MAJ Rando
During January, MAJ Rando flew 13 SP missions with 07 LoS and several competition medals, with an outstanding participation in multiple Corps-wide flying competitions. To recognize Maj Rando's high levels of activity, I recommend that he receive the Palpatine Crescent.
GN Pickled Yoda
GN Pickled Yoda started 2019 with some great activity, including submissions for every TIE Corps in Battle and TIE Corps Spammers entry. He flew 19 SP missions and earned a haul of Iron Stars in January. For this level of activity, I recommend the Palpatine Crescent.
LT SL8c8
In January, LT SL8c8 flew 18 SP missions and earned two Iron Stars. For this level of activity, I recommend the Imperial Security Medal.
GN Dunta Polo
With 21 LoS and 2 LoC, GN Polo has continued his streak as the most active pilot in Kappa Squadron. To recognize his hard work in January, I am recommending he be awarded an ISM. Congratulations!
