TIE Corps Commander Report #23 |
Date Submitted: January 16, 2019 |
Fiction |
Continued from TCCOM Report #22: AD Pete Mitchell left Wing III’s old hangar
on the SSSD Sovereign wearing his pilot uniform and helmet with a stolen LCM
badge. He headed to the rear of the
ship and managed to get to the engine sector without seeing much of anyone
and without being noticed. He found
the main control room and removed his backpack. He took a cord out of it and plugged it
into a data port. He pulled out a data
pad and punched it a few times and watched the screen. Satisfied, Pete packed up and headed out. Pete’s next stop was a bit more
difficult: the bridge. He did his best
to take out of the way turbolifts, but still saw
more officers than he would have liked.
No one stopped him, yet, though.
When Pete approached the final lift, the door opened ahead of him and
white clad officer exited the lift. “Stay calm,” Pete thought to himself,
and he kept walking. The Grand Admiral
did appear to be in a good mood, at least and had a smile on his face. As they passed each other, Rapier gave Pete
an inquisitive look. Pete’s blood rushed to his face and
extremities, but he managed to stay calm and merely nodded towards the Rapier. Rapier returned the nod, and neither of
them broke stride. Pete breathed a
sigh of relief when he entered the turbolift and
the door hissed closed. Pete made it to the bridge and headed to
the navigation station, where he connected his backpack again, used his datapad a bit, and left.
He continued to various places through
the ship repeating the same pattern.
He stopped at the hyperdrive, shield controls,
an ion cannon, a turbolaser, and a cannon. After his 12 hour tour through the ship, he
was exhausted. On his way back to the
hangar he saw CMDR’s quarters for Gimel, and said “I might as well”. He entered the rather small office,
looked around a bit nostalgically, even though the furnishings were
completely different from when it was his.
He then went into the small bedroom in the back and found a bed with
sheets actually on it. Pete wasted no
time in laying down and passing out. |
News |
Not
much happening in the last week other than some MSE work. Warrior and TCCS are done, still waiting on
the Hammer submission… I haven’t received any submission for
TIE Corps Spammers, yet, so I am extending the deadline to the end of the
month as well. I’d like this to be
every other week going forward, though.
For TIE missions, take a smartphone picture of your mission log screen
or use bandicam, or any method that works for you
to get a screenshot of the log screen after getting the primary mission
complete message. Hopefully, we get
some submissions. Otherwise, I may
rethink this competition and try something else… |

TIE Corps in Battle 2019: Rules: Every month, there will be a full battle from each of the major SP platforms (TIE, XvT,
XWA) assigned. Pilots will fly each battle that they choose and
BSF the battles to the TC database and forward the BSF email to Pete
Mitchell. If the pilot has earned a high score, BSF it and also
send the pilot file to Pete Mitchell in case the BSF is not approved in time.
Please also forward the BSF confirmation to Pete Mitchell as well. Each month the pilot with the highest score in
each platform will earn 10 points. The next highest score will
earn 9, the next highest 8, then 7, then 6 and so on. All submissions will earn at least 5
points. Any mission high scores, will earn 1 bonus point, and any
battle high scores will earn 2 bonus points.
High scores are determined at the time the BSF was submitted. If a high score is beat by another pilot in
the same competition that submitted after, both pilots will receive the bonus
points. If a pilot submits a BSF that
would have been a high score, but was beat by another pilot that submitted
before, no bonus points will be awarded to the second submission. Points will accumulate for the year for
more awards. Participation points will also be tallied by
ship and squadron. One point per
