SOO REPORT #22

REPORTING OFFICER: Admiral Plif, Strategic Operations Officer
DATE SUBMITTED: 13 Dec 2018

NEWS

Since last time, the Hammer and Warrior both submitted their November evaluations, they were commented on by yours truly, approved by the TCCOM, and then returned to the COMs. The medals have been awarded and the MoCs have all been processed as well, so we're already done! Kudos to all the CMDRs and the COMs for their efforts in making this all come together so quickly.

MAJ Aldaric's cooked up a TIE Corps Holiday Tournament for us with flying and non-flying assignments weekly until mid-January. Check out the description here as we await the first round to kick off this Saturday.

MP Nights on Thursdays at 5:30 Pacific are still happening, with another event later today. We've been flying XWA and meet up on TIE Corps Discord in the Hangar channel, feel free to join in if you're around!

The Trivia Grand Tour is in the nineteenth week of its second season, URL for this round is http://tc.emperorshammer.org/timetest.php?testid=911449. Remember, the answers are the movie the screenshot came from. Congratulations to the winners of Week Eighteen, LC Repulsor and LCM Steve Dermody!

AWARDS
FA Silvius
While reviewing FA Silvius' record during the monthly review process, it occurred to the TCCOM and me that we'd missed an opportunity to properly recognize his consistently high flight and COO activity and earlier in the year. To get back on track, we hereby confer the Gold Star of the Empire to show our appreciation for his unwaveringly outstanding service to the Corps.
COL Earnim Branet
In November, COL Branet continued to display high activity levels, flying 15 SP missions and earning an LoC and 121 LoSs. In addition, Branet continues to fight for the top spot in multiple Corps-wide flying competitions, earning 13 Iron Stars in the process last month. For this sustained level of high activity, I recommend the Silver Star of the Empire.
GN Elwood the Brave
General Elwood the Brave has done exceptionally well in flight, command and communication activity for the month of November 2018. A Silver Star of the Empire is hereby endorsed for him.
CPT Rando
CPT Rando continued his assault on the SP scoreboards in November, flying 22 SP missions and netting three new high scores. The Captain has also become a regular attendee of the Thursday MP nights, earning 16 LoSs in November, plus a handful of Iron Stars from his participation several Corps-wide flying competitions. For this level of activity, I recommend the Bronze Star of the Empire.
COL Impulse

RA Hav Antiel's efforts in November earned him our recommendation for the Bronze Star of the Empire and he even received his new callsign ''Chicago'' along the way. Highlights:
- Flew 65 SP missions, which resulted in reaching the FCHG rank of Executor and being named the Ace of the TIE Corps for the month
- Earned 4 Legions of Skirmish with the other MP Night participants and received the Qualified rating in the Co-op/PvE rating system
- Submitted four exemplary ISDII Warrior Reports and a monthly evaluation for the ship that would've made GN Frown's trademark expression waver

COL Pellaeon
For his great flying activity, competition participation, and communication efforts during the month of November, I recommend Colonel Pellaeon for a Palpatine Crescent.
AD Pete Mitchell
Despite considerable interference from the dreaded forces of RL in November, AD Pete Mitchell made time to keep up with the duties of the TCCOM as well as posting a number of MP victories. For his service, I hereby award him the Palpatine Crescent.
LCM DarkSith_99
For his good flying activity, competition participation, and communication efforts during the month of November, I recommend Lieutenant Commander DarkSith_99 for an Imperial Security Medal.
COL Gyssler
For his good flying activity, competition participation, and communication efforts during the month of November, I recommend Colonel Gyssler for an Imperial Security Medal.

AD Miles Prower made a number of accomplishments in October and November including playing a key role in getting a series of MP nights up and running, broadcasting the MP nights on Twitch, completing a successful campaign to become the EH Recon Officer, and adding a number of combat victories to his flight record. To recognize his service over these two months, I hereby award him the Imperial Security Medal.
AD Plif
AD Plif has continued flying and his admirable (does that count as a pun?) work as SOO and more than deserves this Imperial Security Medal for November.

How the MoC is earned: In the monthly evaluations, each leader in the TIE Corps (CMDR+) lists all of the pilots that have checked in that month or communicated in a public forum. Those members are awarded an MoC with an oak cluster based on how many times they've earned the MoC in the past.

Oak Clusters: The MoC is always awarded with an oak cluster (MoC-boc, MoC-soc, etc.). For first two awards, it's a Bronze Oak Cluster. From there, the third award is Silver, the fourth and fifth awards are Bronze, the sixth award is Gold, the seventh and eighth awards are Bronze, the ninth award is Platinum, the tenth and eleventh awards are Bronze, and then the twelfth award is Diamond. After that, the cycle begins anew.
