The ISDII Warrior has won its fifth consecutive Raise the Flag title! We scored about 3000 points more than our closest challenger, which was actually the ISDII Challenge and not the Hammer this time. The Warrior's top pilot this year was GN Pickled Yoda who posted over 1000 points of his own and finished third on the individual pilots list. Well done, everyone!
In the SP Bonus Comp right at the end of RtF, the Warrior claimed the lion's share of the points and highest standings. The top three squadrons were all from the Warrior: Sin, Theta, and then Kappa. The top seven individual pilot scores were all Warriors, led by CPT Rando, GN Pickled Yoda, and GN Mark Schueler. Excellent work, all!
Following another strong Raise the Flag for Theta Squadron where they placed second among the squadrons but maintained the title of TCCOM's Escort Squadron, COL Mark Schueler was finally promoted to General. Congratulations!
It's a bit more complicated than I'm about to say it, but GN Mark Schueler has resigned as Theta Squadron's CMDR and returned to an FM position. His service to Theta and the Corps has been long and included a few major achievements, and we thank him both for his efforts and remaining a part of the squadron going forward. There'll be a merit medal award soon to recognize him further.
Former Warrior COM AD Pete Mitchell went on to become the SOO. Now that FA Pellaeon has retired as TCCOM, AD Pete Mitchell has been chosen to step into that role. We're proud to see a Warrior take the reins of the Corps for the first time since our recommissioning in 2014, which can only mean great things are ahead.
The CMDRs completed their MSEs in record time as if they were excited to see some medals get awarded, and I'm proud to report that I completed the ship evaluation earlier in the day and submitted it to the TCCOM. Thanks, CMDRs!
The Trivia Grand Tour ended its first season a few days ago, and the title of Trivia Grand Tour Champion was won by our own GN Pickled Yoda! Yods has been a near-unstoppable force in the trivia competitions thus far, so it was a pleasure to recommend him for the IS-PR this time in our first Corps-wide competition. The next season will begin soon-ish while I take a break and combine all the RtF submissions into a newsletter.
