SQUADRON COMMANDER'S CORNER
|
The results of November's Monthly Ship Evaluation are in, and we're down a pilot, Sinners. Unfortunatley, I had to deem LT Eren Iren AWOL. It's always a sad day to lose one of our own.
However, the MSE brings good news, too.
- LCM Rando was awarded a Silver Star of the Empire.
- LC Earnim Branet was awarded a Bronze Star of the Empire.
- Your humble CMDR was awarded an Imperial Security Medal.
With new comps lined up and all of the promise a new year brings, it looks like Sin Squadron is ready for a very strong 2018.

SQUADRON NEWS

- Sinners swept every medal and platform in TCoP Week 50. Nice flying, pilots!
- LCM Rando nabs first place for TIE, XvT, and XWA (and an unconfirmed new high score).
- LC Branet finishes second in TIE, XvT, and XWA, holding off Dempsey on each platform.
- LC Branet finishes second in TCAI Week 50.
- LT Eren Iren declared AWOL.

COMPETITIONS
|
|
I will summarize competitions that apply to Sin in this section, but you should always check the Competitions Center and Combat Center for full details on all competitions.
- The Price of Sin - This is a weekly competition with a separate IS-BW awarded to the pilot earning the greatest number of LoC/LoS or highest number of SP missions flown. Minimum criteria for award is 2+ pilots participating across any of the 3 categories.
- Warrior Trivia - Each week, Plif will send out a link pointing to five trivia questions for Wing II pilots to answer. The trivia questions will come from the canon Star Wars Universe and various Emperor's Hammer manuals, including the TIE Corps Pilot Manual. Whoever correctly answers all five questions the fastest wins an IS-BR.
- TIE Corps on Patrol - Each Saturday, Woody will announce a free mission for TIE, XvT and XWA. Your mission: earn the highest score. For each platform, the weekly winner will receive an IS-SW, and second will receive an IS-BW. Participants also accumulate points for their participation.
- TIE Corps on Recon - Submit a screenshot each week from one of Star Conflict's multiplayer game modes (Domination, Beacon Hunt, PvE, Team Battle, and Combat Recon). Iron Stars are awarded weekly and monthly based on unique criteria for each game mode.
- TIE Corps vs AI - Submit a screenshot each week from Star Conflict's Player vs. AI modes. Iron Stars are awarded weekly and monthly based on unique criteria for each game mode.

CLOSING COMMENTS
|
I can't tell you how proud it makes me to see Sin pilots top the medal board in competitions like TCoP. That's the kind of flying that makes this squadron so fearsome and reminds me why I accepted this role as your commander. It gives me a strong vision for 2018, specifically Raise the Flag...
This is my last report before the big holiday. Whether you celebrate Empire Day, Life Day, or Boonta Eve, I wish happy and safe celebrations and travels to all of my pilots and TC family. I'll have a final 2017 squadron report next week, then it's on to 2018!
