Greetings
pilots! Here is another weekly ship report from the desk of Vice
Admiral Prower. As you can see, I am now standardizing in the same
report format used on the Warrior.
If you can't beat them in RtF, you get the idea. Our weekly meeting on Discord went smoothly as usual with Pete running the show while I was at work. As a reminder, I'm now working on Saturday-Sunday and Tuesday-Wednesday (9:30 AM to 8:30 PM US Eastern Time) with Monday, Thursday and Friday off. You can always join the TIE Corps (formerly ISDII Hammer) Discord here. Discord is available on PC, Mac, iOS, Android and even on the Internet. You do not require a cellular number to get it running. I have Alpha, Beta and Delta MSEs on my desk and I've been patiently waiting on Epsilon and addressed my concerns to Commander Starfire. In either event I have a backup plan of recommendations set up, so not to worry, that will be completed! The upcoming campaign project is being discussed with the WARD (General Jarek La'an) with input from the SOO and the WarriorCOM. Working together with Pellaeon and the EH Command Staff, we intend to deliver a quality experience for you in a long-term campaign that should prove both fun and immersive. Please have patience while we work out the bugs! Also if you would like to contribute any advice, comments and the like, all you have to do is e-mail one of us. I of course can be reached at tc.milesprower@gmail.com and am always willing to bring your questions and comments to the others on your behalf. I'm also happy to report that we managed to recruit a new pilot from the outside, who attended one of our meetings. With assistance, Cadet Rando joined at the Daedalus and quickly jumped from Sub-Lieutenant and Lieutenant in a matter of days. From what I have personally experienced, he is a highly capable pilot and has flown circles around a few of us! Speaking of which, we are also in the process of organizing both regular weekly MP flight as well as flight school for the three main platforms in order to help sharpen skills, as well as sharing valuable expertise that we all may have. Instructor names are being thrown around, but if you're interested in a rotation, e-mail me and I'll get the ball rolling! Finally Colonel Blackheart has let me know that he has had very little in the way of interest in new Flight Leader positions. Please bear in mind that the Flight Leader is a very valuable piece in squadron management, they are typically the first point of contact a Flight Member can meet with to ask questions or to send concerns up. They are also considered to be prospective future leaders looking to advance to a Squadron Commander position or other leadership role. Understandably there are some communication requirements and possible auxillary duties based on the squadron commander's perspective. So if you are interested, please send Colonel Blackheart an e-mail, CCing me. If you come from the Warrior it is courtesy to also CC your CMDR and COM. |
