SOO Report # 3 (2009-12-10)

This report was submitted by SOO/HA Frodo March/ISDII Hammer

High Admiral Frodo March reporting for the Strategic Operations Office, Report #3

Initial Statement

While I am aware that my recent lazyness has not provided you all with a report during the entire RTF competition, I think that we were all properly updated with TC news and e-mail activity on the egroup.

On a side note, I have asked the commanders to make sure all their pilots are on the mailing list. So far as I can tell you all are, but if you're not, please make sure to contact your CMDR.

MSEs are almost all in for November, the medals should be recommended sometime this week.

Oh yeah. RTF ended! Results were pretty good, the TC having achieved 40% participation. Just a reminder to commanders that if we surpass 50% participation in the next RTF, six months from now, I will award each of you a Bronze Star of the Empire.

Congratulations to COL Conker Blackwood for receiving the IS-PW, as he was the top individual point getter for the competition! Also, who can forget to re-congratulate Gamma Squadron on their epic victory... They have earned the title of TCCOM's OWN, attachable to their ID lines!

VA Eclipse posted all of the submissions on the IWATS site. Naturally any concerns about the scoring can be voiced to me personally, my door is always open to complaints, even if they seem trivial and irritating to you. I am of the opinion that any input will help me and the other Admirals run the TIE Corps better. On that note, if anybody has anything to say about how the RTF was administered this time around, please, e-mail me.

Also, I will leave you guys alone on the competition front until the new year is set in. CMDRs, consider this a golden opportunity to run some easy going Squadron competitions. Hear that...Golden...

Quote of the Week

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Final Thoughts

Ok. I think we can all pat ourselves on the back for putting out a decent effort. We've once again proven that theres something worth doing here in the TIE Corps, and that none of us is wasting time. However, we also proved that we need to work harder to make this place better... Let's stop trying to make it what it was, and let nostalgia take over... Let's move forward and make it into something even better, in a way that only we can do it.

Starting next year that will be my personal objective, and I hope that you will all hop on that train.

Happy holidays.
