Despite the big news items coming out this week, things around Kappa have been pretty quiet post-RtF. Quiet as much as Drachen allows us to be, anyway, between Telegram chatter and trying to light the TCMB on fire. After a probably-quick July MSE process, August is looking like a pretty good time to get back to working on competitions! With FA Pellaeon stepping up to TCCOM tomorrow, he announced that RA Pete Mitchell will be the next SOO. Grats Pete! Pete spent a little time with Kappa before moving on to Warrior COM, so naturally we're very proud to see a Kappa pilot moving up the ranks. Without a potential CMDR to lead it, the decision was made to close Sigma Squadron. It's still active on the roster while its pilots are given an opportunity to choose their next assignment. If any of you guys are reading this and are interested in Kappa, we'd be happy to have you here! |
