CLOSING COMMENTS
With July's MSE looming, I'm anxious to hear from my Sin pilots. I have reached out to those who haven't communicated with me this month, but I'm still awaiting responses.

Earlier this week, I stumbled upon one of VA Zósite Kónstyte Style's old Cyclone Squadron reports from 2008. With all of the discussion this month about activity, recruiting, and the future of the TIE Corps, it was such a surprise to read Zósite's report and notice how different the tone was back then. The dude was using the old 'AWOL Boot' with great relish. He reported that one pilot was 'kicked out for good and now holding AWOL status. Good work you...' and told another pilot, 'I *STILL* don't know who exactly you were, Colonel. And it seems you decided to keep the secret for yourself. But I warned you and you didn't hear. You have ONE week to respond. Period.' And that was a full-bird Colonel!

Lately, I've had multiple discussions with COMs and CMDRs about the importance of leadership and being 'old school,' but I'm not sure that adopting Zósite's old approach would help boost Sin's activity. I prefer to reward action rather than punish stagnation. That being said, it's frustrating to reach out to my pilots and not hear back. I'm putting in the work, Sinners. New patch, new uniforms, new mottos, shiny medals for solid participation, and I'm doing my best to lead activity by putting up big numbers in the SP kill board. No, I'm not going to threaten to lace up the 'AWOL Boot,' but I am prepared to help you make the move to the Phoenix if I think it's for the best. And when you're ready to get back into the cockpit, you'll be welcome in Sin Squadron.

For Sin,
