Greetings and welcome to yet another stimulating edition of the BetaWSR! This week finds me just recently returned to town from attending the wedding of a long-time friend (and fellow EH-er, although he's long since been retired). It was a lot of fun, and I won't lie: Star Wars did have an impact on the wedding in amusing ways.

It was a lot of fun, and I won't lie: Star Wars did have an impact on the wedding in amusing ways.
But enough about me, let's talk about you! We had yet another Sub-Lieutenant join our ranks from the Daedalus. Shout-out to SL Tobias Miller for joining our ranks. In addition, shout-out to SL OberSteiger for winning BetaPotM!

* SL Tobias Miller graduated from training on the Daedalus and has been assigned aboard Beta and the Hammer. Welcome aboard!
* No winner at our Target Identification competition, as I didn't receive any entries. Hopefully we'll get some entries this week! Full details are below.
* With a solid amount of email communication, SL OberSteiger wins the March Pilot of the Month competition. Congrats, your medal is on its way!
* April is off to a slow start thus far, with LC Kroan leading the way with a very slim lead. Will anyone catch him? Stay tuned to find out!

Target Identification
As a STRIKE squadron, all pilot in Beta Squadron must have the ability to identify a target based on what is sometimes partial info from the Intelligence Division. Each week in the WSR, a picture of a particular target will be included in that WSR. The first member of the squadron to reply back with the correct name of the target (which can be a person, ship or location) wins an IS-BR. Overall winner for the month will get an IS-SR.
To participate, log into the TC site, and click on the link below. The database will track how long from when you first clicked the link below to when you submitted the answer, so there won't be any advantage to whomever completes it in the closest time to the WSR being sent, but whomever completes it in the shortest amount of time correctly.
