Ahoy me hearties!

As I be mentioning last week, today be the official International Speak Like A Pirate day so this be me plan fer this report so it be. (My donation to a local animal welfare charity has already been made!).

Shiver me timbers but it’s been a dismal week me hearties, there be little activity that I can share a bottle of rum over and that be too little for my liking so it be. You be flying as little as a bunch of landlubbers who have never smelt the salt air of the sea!

We need a bit of a buck up so we do, or I’ll be forced into a few keelhaulings, and the Hammer has a mighty big keel to haul you under…arrrrrr

We has been presented with our sailing ships, so we have, they be pretty little schooners and there be a fair wind astern so we should make some time to weigh the anchors and sail forth into the deep seas of activity.

OK that’s quite enough of that for the moment (-:

Seriously though folks things are far too quiet around here and a little flurry of activity around motto’s and graphics would be deeply appreciated by yours truly as I recuperate from an amusing accident involving a Belkin surge protected multi-socket, my finger and the missing power button….note to self, sticking your finger into what is effectively a live socket is not a good thing to do (-:

There’s a promise of a new competition coming from the ‘higher-up’s’ with the TCCOM putting the finishing touches to a new phase in the history of the TIE Corps, after the disaster of the ‘Aspire’ peace process and us now fighting a war on two fronts it’ll be interesting to see where we go next.

Now we are in the newly reformed Alpha squadron we need a nickname and a motto that befits our status as an elite heavy assault squadron.

Entries to me by September the 6th then we'll throw it open to a squadron vote. Winner gets an IS-BR for their troubles.

Summary

So there ye goes ye scurvy dogs, it be a poor show this week and no mistake. We needs to be improving so we do or the Admirals will be swinging the cat and not sparing the lashes.

Time to throw open the gun-ports and raise the jolly roger and take it to the enemy pirate style!
