Squadron News
This week sees a small change already occurring within Delta Squadron as we enter the new year. Colonel Impulse formerly of flight 2 has been shifted over to flight 3 to take up the vacant role of Flight Leader. This has been signed off with the blessings of all involved and we wish Colonel Impulse the best of luck in his new role!
The start of 2017 also see's several bits of admin take place from the end of 2016, including the close out and award of medals for 2016 competitions.
Firstly a big big congratulations to General Anahorn Dempsey for finishing as Ace of the TIE Corps 2016 with 1482 mission flown. Dempsey also managed to come in 3rd place in the MP competition for 2016 in addition to rounding off the year with a clean sweep of SP & MP ace for December 2016.
Kudos also goes to Colonel Impulse for claiming 3rd place in the Hammers SP stats for December 2016. All around a very good close out to the year and a increase in Deltas citations to 25.
On the topic of citations Impulse has released a plan of action to quickly boost our citation count and I look forward to putting this into action asap.
As a squadron we've also conducted a informal checkin, I've been requesting everyone to get in touch with a rough estimation of their upcoming activity levels so we can put together a few goals for the squadron -- more of that to come in the coming week.
Squadron Competitions
The first round of the 2017 trivia has been completed, the theme revolving around the Kuat Drive Yards this week. Answers were as follows -
1: Rothana Heavy Engineering.
2. Acclamator-class assault ship.
3. Core Galaxy Systems, Corellia StarDrive, and Hoersch-Kessel Drive Inc.
4. 50 quadrillion credits.
5. Fondor shipyards.
The winner this week was our former Commander, Colonel Clark who has picked up a IS-BR.
