Good evening pilots of Alpha squadron, settle down its time for another briefing.

Firstly congratulations are in order to COL Jarek La’an who has been awarded with an IS-BR for third place in the Graphics competition of Operation Serpents Sortie and an IS-GR for winning the same graphics competition.

Nice work Colonel, even if you weren’t in Alpha at the time (-:

Secondly thanks to Neb and Ramos for signing in, I believe that’s all of us having said hello; this is good and now we need to get down to some work. I have just begun a run-on, on the Alpha message board that you can all feel free to add to. No rules, (other than the usual ones), we’ll let it develop as we see fit but it’s an option for those of you that can’t fly to gain some credit points for activity in the Squadron, (refer to TC policy on what constitutes activity).

Thirdly, congratulations to VA’ Astin and RA Eclipse on their Silver Stars, well done guys.

Finally at this point we’re still open for suggestions on ships. La’an has placed his suggestions and I’m about to submit my argument to the TCCOM. However apart from my habitual ignoring of Valic who’s demanding his Defender back, (I’m going to get him a weaponless TIE Fighter MKI I think), I’m still open for input.

Competitions are still open for a few more days, but I think I will extend the GFX comp for a week as we have no agreed fighters yet and I’ve requested this from RA Eclipse and he’s agreed, but let’s not push his patience

Now we are in the newly reformed Alpha squadron we need a nickname and a motto that befits our status as an elite heavy assault squadron.

Entries to me by September the 6th then we'll throw it open to a squadron vote. Winner gets an IS-BR for their troubles.

Description:

We need a new squadron logo for the squadron pages. Give me something new, exciting and sexy that will make Alpha squadron stand out above all other squadrons.

THIS WILL BE EXTENDED DUE TO SHIP CHOICE of course.

Summary

So another week goes by and a couple of new Alpherites appear back from whatever pub crawl they were on (-: The mission is still ongoing and the TC seems to be pulling itself together into its new shape quite happily.

The old fleet is still fighting on the borders and it’s our job to hunt down the cheeky sods that thought it was funny to attack us in our own back yard. Personally I’m looking forward to the chance of hunting them down and serving up a cold dish of whoop-ass.
