A very quick one this week, ahead of end of month results on Monday. so, just a quick summary of results as they stand. QUICK REMINDER Please make sure that when submitting screens, your own pilot ID is clearly displaed on the screenshot, and not obsured in anyway. If it is not there, we can't confirm you have met minimum requirements, and so must deny the screens. Remember as well, if there are more than one of you playing, you may need to submit two screens to show both players. In VERY rare instances, 3 screens may be required. If so, email the COO and COOA for advice, and we'll tell you how to submit them. Thanks all!

COO COMPETITIONS FOR JULY 2016

This Month's Competitions: COMBAT EVENTS COO Monthly Challenge 2016: - whole TC Star Conflict: PvP Kills This Combat Event will be for the Distinguished Flying Cross for July. Your goal will be to submit a victory screenshot with the highest number of kills + half assists you can get in one round of and Star conflict PvP matches. For this event, Assists are counted, but only at half weight and we round down. If a pilot finishes a match with 10 kills and 5 Assists, the score for the match would be recorded as 12. Submissions to this competition are made through the database like any other 24/7 LoC submission. While processing LoCs, the COO and COOA keep an eye out for new personal bests and update a shared spreadsheet. July Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - MAJ Silvius - 15 points 2nd - HA Dempsey, FA Pellaeon - 14 points 3rd - HA Elwood - 13 points For ages, I've not included the scores - mny thinking was, that the best pilots often get scores that are unobtainable for the less experienced pilots, but I don't want to put them off taking part. However, in the light of previous conversations I've had, I think perhaps it's time for a change. As yopu can see, only 2 points seperating the top three places. Perhaps this can inspire one of those players to up their game enough to get that extra point. COMPETITIONS MP Ace Of The TIE Corps 2016 - whole TC The Multiplayer Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW. July Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - HA Dempsey - 58 points 2nd - VA Hawkins - 41 points 3rd - FA Elwood the Brave - 39 points MP Co-op Ace Of The TIE Corps 2016 - whole TC The Co-op Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoS earns you a point for the competition. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP Co-Op KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW. July Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - HA Dempsey - 679 points 2nd - MAJ Silvius - 355 points 3rd - LT Rachel Drakon - 94 points (Only 3 ahead! This one is close!) Here is a good example of why I hadn't published these numbers in reports (well, these ones you can find on the Co-op Kill Board anyway). Even as COO I don't have the time to fly 600+ SC matches - even the quickest of them. So... getting onto the scoreboard at 94 victories is a bit daunting, and topping the board an imposibility for me, personally speaking. Would making those numbers harder to come by make people make more of an effort, as that dautning total is unknown? Not sure! COO's Star Wars Challenge; Episode II - whole TC The COO's Star Wars Challenge is a competition designed to promote and reward the playing of MP matches based on a Star Wars platform. Simply submit your MP Screenshot report as normal, and the COO and COOA will track the number of matches played on any Star Wars MP platform, such as XvT, XWA, BF3, and all other approved MP platforms. Both PvP and PvE matches count towards a pilot's total. The player with the highest overall Star Wars based MP victories will win each month, and for the year over all. Normal Screenshot submission requirements apply. Screenshots that are submitted that were not taken in a given month, or very close to the start of it, will not count towards that month's total, but will count for the yearly total. July Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - VA Hawkins - 36 points (Would love some company on this list! Any one for Star Wars MP?) 2nd - STILL none 3rd - Double, EXTRA none Star Conflict; PvP Wingman - whole TC With the recent Star Conflict change to 'last hit kills', being a good wingman is an even more selfless act than before! to recognise this, this month's Competition is to achieve the highest single 'Assists' score in any PvP battle. . If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW. July Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - HA Elwood the Brave - 23 assists 2nd - MAJ Silvius - 21 assists 3rd - FA Pellaeon - 19 assists
