Apologies for the overdue report…I got a bit wrapped up in flying.

Well pilots, Raise the Flag is now officially over…final results are an unsurprising repeat of 2014 with the Warrior defending her title for the 3^rd consecutive year, Theta squadron and General Pickled Yoda taking top honors.

I won’t dwell on our own performance too long, as there is not much good to say.  I knew going in that with only 7 pilots we weren’t going to do very well, but when two pilots carry 97% of the load and only 4 of the 7 deign to show up at all, it’s frankly a miracle we didn’t end up dead last.  For those of you who *did* contribute in the face of overwhelming odds, you have my gratitude and your rewards in my forthcoming evaluation will reflect that.  For the rest…I will remind you that this is an active duty unit and members of it are expected to be active.  If for whatever reason that is not possible, then you need to either take a temporary leave of absence or request reassignment to the reserves aboard the M/FRG Phoenix.  I’ll be speaking more with several of you about this subject in private as I work on my MSE for June.

Regarding Sinner’s Delight…in light of our overall lack of activity of late, and also due to continued shot-hoarding by certain pilots, I am suspending the weekly portion of Sinner’s Delight until further notice.  When shots are sent in huge batches flown over multiple weeks, it becomes impossible to tell which ones count.  As far as the monthly portion is concerned, I will continue that as long as we have at least 2 or more participants.  With that out of the way, here are the results for June:
