This is an official communique from the TIE Corps Commander to all the TIE Corps pilots. The following is classified level Rho. Disclosure of those information shall result in court martial for any of the accused individuals.

We have been betrayed. As you are aware, yesterday we have lost contact with the Golan II Station 'Aspire 2', where negotiations between the Emperor's Hammer and the New Republic were taking place. The hyperspace recon probe has relayed to us an image of our entire defence force annihilated and the Golan Station wrecked. Despite intensive scanning, we have been unable to locate any survivors. Countless lives were lost.

No black boxes were retrieved yet, but careful analysis of the damage has indicated that a significant amount was inflicted upon our ships by the New Republic forces. They have lured a significant amount of our forces into one place and then attacked us. The entire negotiations were fake, intended just to deceit us. Of course, the New Republic has already started their propaganda, accusing us of destroying their diplomat's craft and later dealing significant damage to their fleet without any reason or warning. Do not believe anything that those traitors shall try to tell you.

Although luckily both Fleet Commander Cyric and Executive Officer Maverick were not present on the site during the attack, we have been hit very hard. In addition to several Reserve transfers, we haven't been able to contact any of the 13 pilots assigned to Aspire 2. Therefore they shall be listed as M.I.A. This incident has surely eliminated our best chance to sign a peace treaty with the New Republic. We are expecting an imminent attack on our borders by the NR Navy, therefore I am deploying ISD Warrior, ISD Challenge, ISD Subjugator and MC-80b Redemption to our NR borders in order to defend it. Expect more information soon.
