OVERVIEW

Here we go with another TCCOM report. This week the most interesting news the loss and regain of two pilots in Kappa squadron. First Lieutenant Ike Ferral and Lieutenant Colonel Tempest requested their transfer to the Reserves, which I processed with a heavy heart. But Kappa didn't stand with 2 men down from being full for too long. With the arrival of the Sub Lieutenants Lucifer Scorpio Romanov and Rachel Drakon Kappa filled its numbers again. Both Sub Lieutenants allready managed to gain their promotion to full Lieutenant within their first days. RtF - 2016 started 3 1/2 weeks ago. The results for the gfx and MP bonus comp were announced and the points added to the RtF page. Congratulations to General Jarek La'an on his victorious gfx submission, to General Pickled Yoda on his second place and to Lieutenant Colonel Ulrich Drachen and Major Keth Aalithon their third place in the gfx bonus comp. The MP bonus comp results are detailed in the COO's report. Congratulations to the overall winners General Gilad Pellaeon (525 Bonus points), General Pickled Yoda (480 Bonus points) and Major Silvius (306 Bonus points). As a side note just the impressive number of matches the COO staff had to handle for this years RTF MP bonus comp alone: 2447! Great job, Vice Admiral Hawkins and Major Silvius! Thanks for all the work you've put into this! The actual running bonus competition is the SP bonus comp. For details please check out Raise the Flag - 2016 - SP bonus competition. Pilots are to fly XW-TC 2, TIE-TC 169, XvT-TC 103 and XWA-TC 39 until Wednesday, 29th June, and bsf their pilot files. In addition to the bsf they should mail their pilot files to the TCCOM and SOO to make sure they recieve the submissions even if the bsf mail is missing because of server issues. For details and actual standings of RtF - 2016 check http://rtf.tsaunders.net/. So far the Warrior is building up her lead with now over 3000 points ahead of the Hammer. Same goes for Theta leading with over 2000 points distance to Kappa. Major Silvius and General Gillad Pelleaon are closing in on General Pickled Yoda on the pilots listing though. Now for some rule and issue solving words about RtF - 2016 as erepetition from last weeks report. First of, if a pilot has flown a mission/battle once during RtF and didn't gain a High Score for that mission/battle he can refly the mission/battle for the HS and gain the HS points for it, but just once! If a pilot already has the HS on a mission/battle he won't be eligible for HS bonus points for that mission/battle during RtF. Next thing is more a question of fairplay and good sportsmanship than a matter of rules. It is about hoarding of pilot files/MP screens 'till close to the end of a competition. While this is in no way forbidden and some of you might see it as a good strategy to keep the opponent in the dark about your real strength, it is a matter of fairplay and good sportsmanship to not do it. I will not force anyone to submit all their pilot files and/or screens on a daily or weekly basis, but it would be a sign of fairplay if people would keep the time between the flying of a mission/batlle/match and the submission of the same to the database as short as possible. I for one try to upload all my submissions on a daily basis. Please try to play as fair as possible with each other, gents.
