Wing I Report # 3 (2016-05-09)

This report was submitted by WC/MAJ Narven Task/Wing I/ISDII Hammer

<SALUTE>

On the eve of our COM's return, this will be my last report as Acting COM. I've had my brief moment in the spotlight but will soon be relegated to the briefing room once again. I'm proud to announce that I've successfully adhered to the one order I was given at her departure. Anytime you see the COM, remember that the asteroid crashed into the Hammer and not the other way around.

As a reminder, this is the last day to send your story about my triumphant performance as Acting COM. Full details about the competition can be found here, with all the other active competitions listed here.

GN Golbez Harvey had some competition in TIE Corps on Patrol this week, but emerged victorious with three first place scores. Fine work, General.

GN Dunta Polo earned four medals from TIE Corps on Recon, which I still only tolerate because those are medals that Warrior pilots were kept from earning. Well done, I suppose. The General also received another two medals from the COO for multiplayer performance.

CPT Silvius won a handful of awards from his competition, TIE Corps Versus AI. I've used the shooting fish in a barrel analogy before, but this situation is more like shooting virtual fish in virtual barrel where the fish are poorly programmed.

Another two medals for this "Commander" game went to MAJ Mauser and LCM Chrome. Who is letting this happen?!

Also, COL John T. Clark earned three medals from the rebellion simulator named Uprising. COL Clark is a fan of killing waves of virtual stormtroopers. Make of that what you will.

Last week, there was a reply to my report about drunkenness being an excuse for field operations. While I realize this is a vice some officers partake in, talking about it publicly is simply not done. A respectable officer keeps their shameful off-duty antics to themselves when addressing the Corps.

Once again, I've been reminded of the lows one can sink to when confined to a Star Destroyer for too long. Those of you with substantial amounts of accrued leave time will be sent out for a walk... in an EVA suit, along the hull of the Hammer. Hopefully this will teach you to use your leave time properly for all our sakes.
