COO INTERIM REPORT

SALUTE As the end of moth report went out just a few days ago, I'll not be doing a full blown report this week. However, there are some bits of news, so I thought I'd just go through those! STAR CONFLICT - GAME MODES Those of you who play regularly will have already noticed that in a recent update the option to fly PvP style missions against bots now is now a specific option when choosing which mission/game type tp play. This makes earning Synergy and other resources a lot easier, and give pilots the chance to develop their skills in a more forgiving environment. So, if you've not played in a bit, check out the new game modes and see if they can re-ignite your enthusiasm! STAR CONFLICT COMBAT EVENT PROPOSAL I would like to propose a Star Conflict Combat Event/Competition, to be held one weekend towards the end of March, early April. This will not be the normal 'highest kills' used during the monthly challenge, but an actuall competative event in which TC pilots will need to organise and fly matches in competition with other members. Now, actually organsing to be on opposite teams is going to be near impossible, so I would like to propose the following: Each match will be between two or three TC Pilots, who must form a team. Each match must be PvP, but at any Tier agreed by the pilots in competition. If there is disagreement, the lowest Tier requested will be used. To win a match, a pilot must achieve the highest Efficiency (EFF) compared with his TC opponents. Each highest EFF will be counted as a Victory for that pilot, irrespective of whether the match overall was a victory or not. You are competing against your fellow TC pilots, not everyone else. Leave that for the LoCs! The pilot with the highest number of victories will be the overall winner, and recieve a Distinguished Flying Cross. Other medals for particpation may be added if there are sufficient members taking part. No pilot may compete against an opposing pilot more than three times. After the first three match reports featuring those pilots have been recieved, no further points can be scored when competing in a team containing that pilot, even if another pilot is present. What do people think? Any questions? This would require some prior planning so people can organise their time to join in.
