TALES FROM THE AGGRESSOR

Living up to the Hype Hawkins smiled as he strode down the corridors of his old haunt. The Warrior was much as he remembered her. But then, it hadn't been long since he left her confines to take up residency aboard the Aggressor. The last few weeks had been a bit slow aboard the Aggressor. Not for the pilots - they were wearing the deckplates thin again with the volume of combat reports heading towards the COO Office, both from covert and official Imperial operations. On both fronts, things were progressing well. With things well in hand aboard the Aggressor, and Silvius appropriately burried under a pile of screens, Hawkins took the opportunity to vist the Warrior, austensibly on the grounds of a suprise inspection of combat readiness - VA Plif had seen through that one in a moment and asked with a wry smile if Hawkins remembered the way to the Kappa rec-room, and invited Hawkins to inspect their level of readiness. If Drachen's recent combat record was anything to go by, the general state of readiness at around this hour would largely depend on whether ship security had done a better job of keeping some of the shipments of fresh cans of KAPPA HYPE off ship. From the repeated chants of "Kappa Hype!" echoing down the corridors, and the irate glances in the direction of the Kappa rec-room from the various naval personnel Hawkins passed, he suspected not. Drachen, you one-man-war against the COO Office hasn't ground us down just yet! NEW PROCESSING PROCEDURES So you are all aware, Dempsey has made some changes to the processing... er... process on requests from the COO Office, following issues that arose at the end of last month. as I said last time, come the end of the month, all reports will be processed for the killboard in the month they are submitted, rather than processed. However, we are also investigating possibilities to further streamline to process. My thanks to Dempsey for all her hard work on behalf of the Comabt Office in relation to the various procedures she is improving. COO BANNER A Personal request here... PLEASE get some submissions for the new Combat Office Banner! Only two so far (one is mine!). would love for there to be 3 or 4 to choose from. Please see the details below! NEW IWATS COURSE BEING WRITTEN I have been granted permission from the TCCOM and the TO to compose a new IWATs (Or IU - what is it there days?) Course based on the opperations of the COO Office. This will likely become a mandatory course for those whishing to take on roles within the Combat Office. Will keep you posted! (Posting this here is more a way of holding myself to account... I've said it here! Cant't get out of it now!!)

This Month's Competitions: COMBAT EVENTS COO Monthly Challenge 2015: - whole TC This Combat Event will be for the coveted DFC. Your goal will be to submit a victory screenshot with the highest number of kills plus half assists (rounded down) you can get in one round of Star Conflict's Domination or Team Battle modes. Processed by the COO and COOA via the normal MP submission process. INSANELY close so far this month, with join places for 1st to 3rd with only 3 kills seperating the 1st and 3rd places! December Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots...ish: 1st - LCM silvius, COL John T Clarke, COL Rau Aznable 2nd - MAJ Nolij, AD Pellaeon, FA Elwood, MAJ Drachen 3rd - LCM Leocardio, CM Spiffy COMPETITIONS MP Ace Of The TIE Corps - whole TC The Multiplayer Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW. XWA, XvT, Star Conflict, and Freelancer-Freeworlds are the authorized platforms for this competition. December Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - MAJ Ulrich Drachen - 170 Points 2nd - LCM Silvius - 55 Points 3rd - AD Pellaeon - 52 Points MP Co-op Ace Of The TIE Corps - whole TC The Co-op Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW. December Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - AD Pellaeon 2nd - LCM Silvius 3rd - FA Elwood Battlefront 2015 - Starfighter Kills: - whole TC Rack up the highest 'Kill' count in a single Battlefront 2015 victorious Starfighter battle. The competition will be tracked by the COO and COOA via the normal LoC submission process. No additional/emailed submissions are required. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. December Standings: Top 3 ranked pilots: 1st - MAJ U Drachen 2nd - VA D Stephens 3rd - LCM Sparky Combat Center Banner: - whole TC This competition marks the beginning of the revitalization of the TC's Combat Center. It needs a major update and overhaul! Only two entires so far!! We need more!!! So, to get involved, your challenge is to: Design a new banner or header image for the Combat Center. You may submit as many entries as you wish - each successful entry will be entered into the final running. Entries should be emailed to RA Hawkins at nedius@gmail.com.
