Victory!

Even though that one word could be enough for posterity's sake, it is my pleasure to report more on our historic repeat as RTF champions: This year we dominated from the get go, but with less resistance from our rivals on the Hammer than in 2014. Unfortunately, our champion GN Pickled Yoda was edged out by COL Golbez Harvey from Wing I as top pilot... BUT, let it be known that his effort was the best on the winning ship and top Squadron, and that he lead us to victory for the second straight year. Well done, General.

All in all, we achieved 60% participation on the ship, and our points were more spread out than the previous year, which pleases me because I like a good team effort.

Well done Theta and Sin squadrons who lead the charge with their first and second place finishes. I would be remiss if I didn't congratulate our Kappans as well, who although were fifth for the second year, achieved a very strong team performance with 1010 points. That's no small number!

Theta also won the Bonus SP competition, with Sin Squadron right behind them in second.

This means that loads of medals will be awarded in the coming weeks. The Monthly Squadron Evaluations are due by the weekend, and I'm happy to report I'm only missing one, so things will be on time.

With the most important comp of the year behind us, we can now look forward to the summer months. Things should return to normal around here, starting with Trivia that will surely relaunch soon enough. There should be a few weeks between now and our next ship competition, so this is a golden opportunity for CMDRs to host new and exciting competitions. Hint, hint.

The TCCOM and SOO were both awarded the Gold Star of the Empire for their efforts running RTF.

Colonel Frown has been allegedly planning a big victory party... I'm not sure how much fun it will be, so we'll ask him about it.

Q1: Oh boy! You're hosting a party!?

A1: Indeed. It is my dubious honour to host our second victory party in as many years.

Q2: When and where!?

A2: I was afraid you'd ask that, so I came prepared!

You see, last year you boisterous buffoons drunkenly wrecked most of our Officer's Mess. I spent months cleaning up and waiting for Master to repair the hole he busted in the wall with his head. He never did fix it, by the way, which is very rude because he wasn't even on the ship yet.

...So this year, I got a great idea: host it on another ship! Tonight!

Q3: What do you mean, another ship! What ship!?

A3: I know it may seem unorthodox, but think of all the damage we can prevent to our glorious chariot, the mighty ISDII Warrior! I expect you all to join me on the VSD Sinister, which has been conveniently attached to our battle group in the absence of the EH's Tactical Officer, for our victory celebration soirée.

...That's enough for now, Sir, It's Party time!

Well then, looks like we're on our way to trash the Sinister.
