Commodore HA Dempsey reporting
Report ID: H.AD.019
Report date: June 21, 2015
High Admiral Dempsey sat in the command chair on the Imperial-II class Star Destroyer Hammer..In the distance she could see the silhouette of their rival, the Star Destroyer Warrior. A flurry of lights between the ships indicated the many starfighters out there participating in the wargames. From this distance, it was impossible to tell which lights bel;onged to the Hammer, and which belonged to the Warrior. But the fact a large number of lights had come from the enemy ship while only a small number of lights had come from the hammer said enough.
One more week, she sighed. One more week to earn triple the score of the past three weeks, and then we win. Well, assuming the multiplayer part
of the wargames didn't shift the balance in their favor. This was goijng to be a hard last week....
As you may have gathered, I'm not entirely satisfied with the performance of this ship. A number of pilots have gone above and beyond their normal level of activity, but by far not enough. And although nothing's done yet, and there are still two bonus competitions to do, I fear we may again lose this Raise the Flag. But - I am not giving up just yet!
The good news is plenty as well this week. LC Clark bagged himself the fiction bonus competition, and LT Archenksov was awarded a well-earned promotion to Lieutenant Commander. CPT Mauser has earned himself a number of high scores, and I managed to fix a glitch in the BSF system. I have no idea where it came from, but some BSFs that were processed manually were completely screwed up. The problem was corrected and the pilotfiles in question were BSFed again earlier today.
Next up, my Leave of Absence coming up. To end the school year, I've signed up with a teacher training program to be held at CERN in Switzerland, and so I'll be off and away starting July 4th. I'll be back on the 26th. I'm not sure how much time I will have for my TAC and COM duties, and so I'm gonna start harassing people to cover for me. The first one has already accepted, and I'd like to welcome HA Frodo back to the TAC Office as TACA. During my absence he'll be taking over all TAC duties. Have fun! Secondly, VA Pellaeon will be in command of the Hammer while I am away, so everything that normally goes through me should go to him directly.
As such, all pilotfiles that usually go to me should be sent directly to the SOO, VA Pellaeon. Please send them to
the right Pellaeon, and don't be like me and annoy GN Gilad with them :) Also, this means I will not be submitting any COM reports for the entirety of July.
My last COM report will be (hopefully) on July 3rd, the one to follow will be the first Sunday in August.

Dempsey's Weekly Riddles
Every week, the report will have a riddle. First pilot to send the correct answer to the mailing list wins. Each victory earns you an IS-BR. Unless it's a 5th victory, you then get a IS-SR. Unless it's a 10th victory, which gives you an IS-GR. A 25th victory will give you an IS-PR!
This week's riddle: Scientists have researched the average hours a persons sleeps, and notived that people sleep considerably less in one month. Which one and why?
Last week's winner: CM Hawkins
Current standings: AD Woody: 6; LC Clark, CM Hawkins: 5; HA Bonini, GN Pickled Yoda, COL La'an, LC Tempest, CPT Fenn, CM Jast, LCM Doc, LCM Hav Antiel, LT Archenksov: 1
Hammer on Recon
Submit your StarConflict screenshots to me. For Domination and Beacon Hunt, the highest number of captures wins. For PvE, Team Battle and Combat Recon, the highest number of "kills" wins, with assists counting for half a kill (rounded up). Submissions not earning a medal will earn an activity point. First place wins an IS-SW, 2nd a IS-BW (with 2 submissions or more, otherwise IS-BW for first). Submissions earn 4 pts for 1st, 3 pts for 2nd, 2 pts for 3rd and 1 pt for others. At the end of the month, the top 3 MP flyers will earn an IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW. 10 activity points wins an IS-BW and every 50th activity point will earn an IS-SW. Tie breakers: kills for Domination and Beacon Hunt, Captain Kill or pure kills for Team Battle and Combat Recon.

Unfortunately, it appears we will not be winning the RtF title this year. I had hoped for better, but once I return from my LoA I'll see about analyzing results and trying to figure out where we went wrong. Well, I know where, I just don't know the why....
