Commodore's Thoughts

Warriors,

Things are going well in our RTF Campaign. At present, we have topped the 2500 point mark, and we are half way through the competition. Considering no bonus points have been awarded as of now, we're on pace to be near 6000 points at the end of the competition... That is, if we don't let up.

Currently, Sin is in the lead with 1073 points, with Theta right on their six with 1028. Kappa is also doing very well with 212 points to their credit. Our top individual leader at the moment is LC Wraith, followed closely by Yoda and Plif! Keep it up, gentlemen!

There is one day remaining in the RTF Bonus Graphics competition. Those of you who have talent in photoshop, MS Paint, or even if you want to scan something you've hand drawn, this is a golden opportunity to be a hero for your ship, and win some bonus points. But, even if you don't have any aforementioned talents, go for it anyway... because... Bonus points, Baby!

The TCCOM will announce the beginning of the MP competition on the 15th, zulu time. A reminder to all of you that PVP MP matches will be awarded as double or triple for this time frame, but not PVE MP matches (LoSs). Losses will also be counted as one point. All screenshots will have to be sent to the TCCOM, SOO and COO instead of via the regular process. This should start, if my calculations are good, in five hours.

MSE awards for the whole ship were awarded this week. Big congratulations to CPT Nolij who earned a Silver Star of the Empire, and to COL Plif with his Bronze Star of the Empire.

Also, congrats to Captain Hawkins on his well deserved promotion!

A1: Oh? I do believe I gave a brilliant speech just last Sunday.

Q2: No. You clearly did not.

A2: This is most disturbing. So you're saying that you were all performing well in RTF this week despite having no motivational feats of strength from me?

Q3: Err... No?

A3: Then clearly, I gave a speech.

Conclusion

I'm very pleased with everyone's attitude and performance thus far in RTF. We can't let our guard down now, however. The last thing we need is to start being too happy with ourselves.

Fifteen days remain, and I challenge you all to do better in the last half, than you did in the first.
